Top strength and conditoning books

Hey I'm interested in getting into sports sciences and I was wondering if you guys had some books you would recommend to expand my knowledge base.

ik you probably have heard of it, but supertraining by mel siff and yuri verkhoshansky and science and practice of strength training

Bench:105 max
Deadlift: 155 max
Squat: never squatted before
Pushups: 16 with perfect form
Chinups: 5
Pullups: 2
100 m dash: 15.2
200 m dash: 33.4 (not sure about the .4)

Next time just PM somebody instead of creating a new thread. You could also find a lot of suggestions on other threads by using the search tool.

During stretching of an activated muscle, mechanical energy is absorbed in the tendon structures (tendon and aponeurosis) and this energy can subsequently be re-utilized if shortening of the muscle immediately follows the stretching. According to Biscotti (2000), 72% of the elastic energy restitution action comes from tendons, 28% - from contractile elements of muscles.

supertraining by mel siff and yuri verkhoshansky and science and practice of strength training k thanks for the suggestion. I was looking at both of these on Amazon earlier today so I'll make sure to pick them up in the next little bit.

Just asking for some book suggestions nothing to strenous just like top 5 books you like bam bam bam done. Thanks for the suggestion and if there is anymore you would recommend feel free to post.
