vs athletic, nike romeos, adipowers, or pendlay?

I don't care about price, i will save up.

which one should I get? I have wide feet, flat feet due to playing bball while too heavy screwing up my arch.

anyone have experience? my current powerlifts adidas have been roughed up from running sometimes.

why in the actual fuck would you run in lifting shoes?

i've been using the same pair of pendlays for like 6 years. great shoes. i have wide-ish feet and a moderate arch, so ymmv.
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

- Avishek

sunday: long very easy run 80+ mins @ 5:40+ (14+ km)
monday: strength/cross training
tuesday: extensive tempo (7 km) OR fartlek (mostly easy pace with mix of strides, hills, long tempo) 45 mins (8+ km)
wednesday: easy run 60+ mins @ 5:20-5:30 (11+ km)
thursday: easy run 60+ mins @ 5:20-5:30 (11+ km), strength/cross-training
friday: rest
saturday: short tempo 6-8x500 @ sub-4:00 (7 km)

strength would be:
- hops 2x10
- box jumps or ME SVJ 2x5
- squats 3x6-8 or weighted BSS/lunges 3x10/leg
- RDL/hypers 2x10-12 or SLRDL 2x10-12/leg
- upper push myo-reps or sets to technical failure
- upper pull myo-reps or sets to technical failure
- leg raises, holds, pallof presses

Cause sometimes I planned on just lifting so i only bring 1 pair then i decide to sprint or play a little bball, but have no other shoes  :uhhhfacepalm:

Yeah, I'm favoring the pendlays right now. VS athletics seem good too but the fact it is so cheap scares me....

Adidas have a reputation for being narrow. Nikes are too. Can you even get pendlays anymore?

Sorry folks, but the new Romaleos are much thinner and although not quite as thin as Adipowers, are still quite thin. (sidenote: this was probably a change to make the shoe more “athletic” and lighter.)

i didnt realise the 2s were wide .. mine are tight but whatever, put them on squat, then take em off. altho i think all lifts benefit from lifting in wl shoes if the raised heel doesnt take away

I dunno if I want wider or narrow shoes, even if I have wide feet.  The good thing about wearing narrower shoes with wide feet is that it will prob fit snug.

It's strange that a lot of the lifting shoes nowadays look like nike boing's.
