what event do you find the most impressive? I personally think long jump is the most impressive looking event, those people just fly. The most insane video on there though, is that triple jump, man he is so springy.

I agree that the triple jump looks ridiculous. But a video doesnt really do the throws justice. Ive seen a live 80m javelin throw. Thats just amazing. It just blows my mind how a person can throw something that far.
But theres no doubt in my mind that the field events are the most impressive. I like the sprints and hurdrles as well, but middle or long distance just doesnt make my day.

Triple jump is tight
but have you ever tried long jump? it's so difficult to do

so if you mean 5.96meters that is 19.55feet am i right? pretty far man
we have 2 guys jumping 21feet on my team..well did before 1 graduated...there is no way i get that far in my jump

Yeah I meant 5,96. I weighed ~95kg at that time. I always had good horizontal jumps and speed.

Sickest video for me is the Sotomayor jump just because I love watching him pysch himself up. So intense, closing his eyes and doing those little jerks upwards with his arms, visualizing it and then absolutely killing it...awesome.

I like how Jon Edwards breaks the world record, gets really excited... and then does it again by 13cm and has a face that says, "oh... well, that's nice."
