This isn't the first time I've heard/seen this approach. Steven Celi uses it as well and his vert has shot up recently. I obviously think a mix of the two (lifting and jumping) is the best but it all goes back to repetition. If you want to be good at something go do it...alot.

Yes but if you want to be really fast in a formula 1 racecar you need to have a f1 car in the first place :))
