Goddamnnnnnnn, I swear I see a ridiculous amount of complaining whenever I visit this site. Lol, stop trying to bone Adam, he put out a VERY good program(did it myself for 5 weeks and went from 34 standing to 37, give or take, standing, had to quit because school ball started). He's just trying to make a little money on the side, can you blame him for that? I mean its not like HE created the squat flex, whether he endorses the product or not, the product is STILL going to be there and they are STILL going to advertise it heavily and I'm sure people(by choice) will STILL buy it....I guarantee you.

if I advocated getting HIV (going out and banging someone who has HIV, on purpose), just to make a little money on the side, I'm justified because I'm "just trying to make a little money on the side"?

squatflex = HIV

Your reasoning on why Adam gets a pass to promote squatflex is very weak-minded & spineless.

... and you're the dipshit who came onto this site to "whine about us whining", so stop your whining.

pc

And you're the dipshit who just compared a serious issue such as HIV/AIDS to a harmless workout supplement like Squatflex. You really just sound daft(and like a total DICK) when you say idiotic things like that, this applies to not only you but everyone so dont take it as me calling you a bad person or something rather. I mean why such a heavy comparison. I mentioned him promoting the SQUATFLEX, and you turn it around to make it sound like I just defended a guy who promotes the rape of children, or slavery, or some awful thing of that nature. Also if I had stumbled upon the squatflex before vertfreak(which I did considering squatflex has been around for a fair amount of time) I wouldn't have bought it because 1) I dont have 500 random dollars to blow, and even with this 200 dollar knock down....I dont have 300 dollars to blow. 2) I wouldn't buy something that I have no clue if it works and it just simply looks like a deadlift...but with with bar behind you. I was even skeptical about trying vertfreak before a friend who had tried it and saw good gains from it. Finally, Im not really complaining about your complaining, I'm just saying when you see something and your first reaction is "lets make a board about it and trash it, even though we haven't reallly tested it ourselves" you just look like the guy who is pissed off because someone is ahead of them, it kind of just looks like you're pissed because Adam, and people like him, have probably (and i say probably because I dont know you, maybe you have gotten REALLY far, I haven't a clue) got much further in this industry of Strength and Conditioning. I mean I spent a longgg ass time saying how BAD jumpsoles were without even trying them, my friend gave me his to try this summer and they actually worked(for me, I have a feeling its the type of tool that would work for some but not for others). So basically what im saying is that some of the people on here(not all) seem to have a mindset of trash (Insert Here) first, then think about what it is the hell you just said second.

too long didn't read, but squatflex is actually more dangerous than HIV, i change my originally statement. Stop promoting something that is worse than HIV TheStatusQuao, shame on you.

ok i went back and read some of it: "you just look like the guy who is pissed off because someone is ahead of them, it kind of just looks like you're pissed because Adam, and people like him, have probably (and i say probably because I dont know you, maybe you have gotten REALLY far, I haven't a clue) got much further in this industry of Strength and Conditioning"

LOL.. ya man, good job, read my bio maybe. I actually trained athletes (from elem school to pro, nfl, mlb, collegiate, etc), I'm not an internet coach. Big difference buddy.

still laughing, good try though.

Actually if Adam created the squatflex, I wouldn't care if he promoted it.
Haha, interesting. Explain Please.

Why would you not promote your own product?

Squatflex is not harmless. It's overpriced and can hurt kids. They also give kids false hope. Thinking its easy to jump high, when it's not.

You're just some fag from jumpusa. There was no price knockdown. It was never 500 dollars.

We trash scammers because we want to give the industry some credibility. Make a good product, promote it ethically, and there's no problem. Even make a shitty product and promote it ethically.
HAHAHA let me assure you that I am in no way affiliated with jumpusa and from the emails I received from hiller, marako, etc. there was a price knockdown, from not 500 but 497(I was 3 dollars off, oh well) to 297. thats why there has been such heavy advertising lately.
"Squatflex is not harmless. It's overpriced and can hurt kids." LOL man you take this topic too seriously, you make it seem as if someone's solicit guns to minors.
ahhh here it is, its not the emails I got since i deleted them after i got them, but here is a site that shows it http://www.howtojumphigher.org/
Furthermore, what if, just throwing out ideas, Hiller,(who made all whole video as to why he supports that squatflex, and its pretty calculated, and gives plausible reasons) ACTUALLY believes in the product they are helping promote? Whether it be shitty or not. I mean Hiller out of all these people doesnt need the money and even went as far to make a video to give you his reasons. I even have asked him on facebook about what he thinks about it and he stills stays adamant in what he is saying.(give you the thread if you'd like)
Just because someone promotes a product you dont believe is useful doesn't make you a scammer. Unknowledgable? Possibly. Just like if someone personally asked me to give them a recommendation on jumpsoles, jump manual, and vert freak, i'd give them my opinion on them and how they were useful for ME, no more, no less. So if Jacob or Adam believes in the product... are they still scammers?(Note, unless you have INSIDE knowledge on what they think, you have to  assume they believe in the product) Just as you said "Make a good product, promote it ethically, and there's no problem. Even make a shitty product and promote it ethically."

Well maybe you should read all the way through. You should notice the part I put in parentheses that I say(POSSIBLY) and I said possibly because I don't know you. oh shit! you actually copy and pasted that part and STILL managed to miss it. And the HIV comment, just stop it. That is just an unbelievably ignorant and stupid comment. Show me statistics of Squatflex related deaths to HIV/AIDS related deaths. If you find more deaths by squatflex... then continue.

If he truly believes in that product then he's not a coach we should be listening to. Squatflex is a VERY-LAST-CASE-SCENARIO for athletes who have absolutely no access to a gym or gym equipment, which in the real world, never happens. A barbell with 300 lb of plates goes for what, 150$? A power rack or some squat stands goes for what, 200-300$? Even if you didn't get a rack or squat stands, you could simply use that barbell and plates to perform: deadlifts, olympic lifts, clean to front squat + front squats, push press, bent row, 1 arm landmine style presses/rows, landmine style exercises, curl, floor press, winshield wipers, etc. Do you now see why squatflex is junk? You want to become an athlete, choose barbells.

Any coach who "TRULY BELIEVES IN SQUATFLEX" is a moron and definitely don't deserve the label of coach. "Furthermore", adam linkenauger called squatflex a piece of shit and he doesn't believe in it one bit, that's why his promotion of it is obviously very dirty.

Get a clue kid.

If you're un-knowledgeable and make a living selling performance products (jump training, speed training, etc), then you're already a scammer. Duh. So someone who is un-knowledgeable promoting squatflex or selling ineffective programs shouldn't be in this industry, go make money with infomercials at 3AM and get the fuck out of strength & conditioning, all they do is muddy the waters when it's crystal fucking clear what people have to do to improve their athleticism.

GET A FUCKING CLUE BOYO.

And I just putting this in here, because the tone of this topic is starting to go a way in which it turns into an argument rather than a discussion. Which is totally not what I want, because internet fights are just extremely gay. I'm just trying to talk about this topic intelligibly, not trying to come on here and start name calling.

Oh and just to be furthur noted, im not in anyway promoting the squatflex, im just saying, if someone believes in it, and promotes it. It just means they suck, not that they are a scammer. If a teacher unknowingly teaches a student something wrong, they arent trying to screw the child over, they just suck a teaching.

the usage of skwatflekzidiotic training might represent only a subset of a larger, genetically more diverse group of viruses, we used nested polymerase chain reactions to characterize HIV-2 sequences in uncultured mononuclear blood cells of two healthy Liberian agricultural workers, from whom virus isolation was repeatedly unsuccessful, and from a culture-positive symptomatic urban dweller. Analysis of pol, env and long terminal repeat regions revealed the presence of three highly divergent HIV-2 strains, one of which (from one of the healthy subjects) was significantly more closely related to simian immunodeficiency viruses infecting sooty mangabeys and rhesus macaques (SIVSM/SIVMAC) than to any virus of human derivation. This subject also harboured multiply defective viral genotypes that resulted from hypermutation of G to A bases. Our results indicate that HIV-2, SIVSM and SIVMAC comprise a single, highly diverse group of lentiviruses which are attributed to skwatflekz usage, the more bands used, the more a risk of infection.

The word youre looking for is "popular among unknowledgeable kids".  Youre on a website with real strength coaches whose job is actually training athletes and not promoting products.  Its not only very retarded of you to make a statement like that but shows an extreme lack of knowledge as well.  Do you think any of these people would promote this trash if they were not being paid for it?  Do you think they would advise its use if it was a piece of equipment in a commercial gym?  Go read through the information on this site, look through the Verkoshansky methods, journals, discussions in the other sub forums and see if you dont laugh at yourself for making that dumbass statement.

Relax.

High school kids won't know much about injury, all they cares is gain and no idea they actually hurt their body.  For this, I am just so tempted to buy you the squat flex and watch you get an irreversible herniated disc. Go ahead and acting smart, you know you just made a fool out of yourself.

Out of all the people marketing this trash there is only one of them that I am extremely dissapointed in, Moroko, Hiller, etc, who gives a fuck, but having a God given talent and letting scammers take advantage of it for their unethical cause is a true let down to me.  Kids see talent like that and are in awe, they open their ears to anything said and breathed.  Using that talent to do wrong and lead someone down a road that will not only keep them from improving but could injure them and keep them from getting to do what they love and dream is a shame.  We live in a time where peoples word doesnt mean much anymore and money talks for sure, but when youve been given a gift that puts you in a position to REALLY influence people, not like the other talentless fucks that I can understand marketing that trash, and use that gift to do wrong, that has to eat at you inside at some point.  Attaining an elite standard in athletics takes a HUGE amount of character, there has to be some of that left that will show through at some point.
Relax.

GOOD LORD! Somebody quote me saying that the Squatflex was a good workout supplement! Please quote me. I never said that, I said that there are other people who believe in it and thinks its good, never once did I myself say "the squatflex is really good" or something along those lines. And to the guy whoever said somethings about promoting it to unknowledgeable kids, forgot your name as im typing this but im sure you know who you are, Adam actually does have a good program that I have personally seen people make significant gains off of. One last thing, people obviously don't read very closely on here. Look at how i am using my words very LOOSELY(as to not make any assumptions or to start some gay ass forum where we sit here and just call each other names). Loose words like "it looks", "possibly", or "in general".

*yawn*

If you have problems about how you're being treated, then get lost. Notice how you're on an island all by yourself, sticking up for a-link, hiller, jumpusa, etc? If you havn't noticed, vertfreak is not being called out, it's Adam Linkenauger for promoting squatflex, it has nothing to do with vertfreak or it's effectiveness. It has to do with a "coach" promoting $300 piece of shit APL's & then a 300-500$ piece of shit squatflex. It's all just scammer-buddies scratching each other's back.

Notice how Adam came on immediately to justify his review of the APL's? Where is he now? He won't comment on the squatflex issue because he knows it's wrong & dirty.

The end.
