How come more coaches don't have training logs/journals?

I think I finally figured out why I'm a failure. I keep a training log/journal. I have a 131 page journal on TVS, and at the time of this post, a 159 page journal on adarq.org, add those two together and you get a 1 billion page log. I can't find a training log for any coach who claims good numbers, if you know of any, please post.

here's my journal: http://www.adarq.org/forum/progress-journals-experimental-routines/adarq%27s-journal/msg26876/#msg26876

So it got me thinking, maybe the reason why I've failed to hit my head on the rim, so far, is because I'm journaling. I post all of my workouts, bodyweight, fatigue, soreness, training sessions, weights, sets, reps, videos, still frames, etc, yet I make "small progress" (joking aside, small but substantial). If I didn't have a training journal, I could just say: "YO, HIT MY HEAD ON THE RIM TODAY!!" in a vlog, blog, forum post, audio interview, etc.. So I'm thinking about stopping the journaling process. From now on, i'll keep a private journal where only I know what I'm doing, then I'll occasionally post video of me telling you how high I jumped, or i'll blog about it, etc. If I run a meet, I'll use a fake ID so that I can run anonymously, because my privacy is at stake. If I take some still photos to show my friends online, I might hang from the rim, pull myself up + let go and pose, then I'll find that frame in the video and post it online.

Just wondering what everyone thinks, because I'm starting to think I'll get my head on the rim faster if I stop journaling and just lie about it. Will this work? Is this effective? I'm starting to think it'll work so I'm going to give it my best and really work hard on it over the next few months.

I'm starting to think "privacy" and "seclusion" makes one a better athlete. I mean, when I worked at MSC and perfect competition, we had athletes, dad's/parents, coaches, everybody telling me they ran 4.4's and jumped 40, I guess I just live in a good area, Florida has some sick athletes!

But that got me thinking, none of those people had video or training logs, so, again, it comes back to me WASTING ENERGY journaling.. Journaling has to be draining my CNS or something? I'm thinking journaling is so slow twitch that it has me converting IIx's to type IIa's then to type I's? Am I running out of ATP-PC? The process of journaling and making videos is very slow come to think about it, if I cut those activities out I'd probably save 500 kcal a week, which could be better utilized to recover from training and or hypertrophy my muscles.

Ok let's do this!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Good job man! Don't post that in your journal, and I know you have footage but we all should respect your privacy so please do not upload it to youtube. Thanks!

Adios Aloha!

Hey guys, just a little training update. First the good news; I got chin level with the rim today, 10' rim, legit measured!!!!!!!! Now the bad news, I chipped 4 teeth and just got out of emergency dental repair surgery, going to have to rest for a while, might lose my hops, will post videos when I'm all healed up, though I might be jumping 20 inches lower :<

peace

Learn AE better, use a trampoline to do crazy jumps and dunks, and then remove the trampoline from the video.
