So what were the 3 exercises he was suggesting?. Does anyone know?.

Also a big hint of not overtraining which is all good.

someone on irc mentioned, but i forget, all i remember is low squat hops in jump soles.

What, Puke? He was suggesting, at least for one-leg jumps, the one-leg two hands holding a basketball/med ball hyperextension. Not too bad to be honest, the problem was that he said the reverse hyperextension (note - reverse) is training the body differently than what's happening in a one-leg jump so he dumped that exercise out of the window. He said that the electrical impulses are different (science says, according to him) and "bad" in a reverse hyperextension.

But then again, he's the one who said never to train with heavy squats, only with explosive squats (30-50% 1RM).

He supposedly sees the one legged back extension as the main core exercise, one the best exercises for vertical jump.

i better sign up and by in then hey

oh and i better get some jump soles too which i'm sure he gets a cut of

all up he's just rehashing what he's always offered for a different price including the same dodgy mullet

i listened to the bullshit call.the exercises where 1.weighted depth drops from desired vertical 2.regular depth drops 3.single leg hypers and 4.super hops?? he was just trying to sell us something as usual.his new website is getverticalnow.com.fuck him

He mentioned if you have a 24 inch vert, and want to reach 40 inch vert. You should drop and land from that height.
Heavy squatting and plyos won't get as much results. You do not want to get big muscles. You want to train the neurological capacity or nervous system. Box squat 30% only.
Preparation day - Day 1 - rest - pnf stretching x 3/day lower back, glutes, hip flexors, groin, hamstrings, quads, calves, Tibialis
The Workout - Day 2
Day 3 - Same as Day 1
NO physical activity at all in day 1 or 3. If necessary, only 10 mins of ball handling.
4 weeks on - 1 week in pool. (water at chest level, doing plyos in pool, bounding, max jump in place for height etc...)
3 CYCLES X 5 WEEKS = 15 WEEKS
Strictly for intermediates and advanced. NO beginners!
THE WORKOUT: Warm up - must break sweat
             MAXIMAL INTENSITY - 3 sets of 1 rep @ from desired vertical jump height
             Set 1 : B/W only (rest 180s)
             Set 2 : B/W + 5% (rest 270s)
             Set 3 : B/W + 10% (rest 400s)
Optimal intensity
3 sets of 5 @ VJH + (x)
Set 1 : B/W Only (VJH + 2)
set 2 : B/W only (VJH + 4)
Set 3 : B/W Only (VJH + 6)

that's it

if this even works then you'd need a pretty good strength base behind you cos if you don't then you won't be able to land the high depth jump

the optimal intensity is vj + 2"/4"/6" for cycle 1, + 4"/6"/8" for cycle 2 and 6"/8"/10" for cycle 3

i'm not sure how he can use a style of auto regulation (upn) but pre determine what you do each day? that makes no sense

be sure that this is all you'd do lower body wise so the 4 days after the 4 day window is where you play, practice etc as well as upper body work

if i am even to try this it definitely won't be til i get to my 2 x bw back squat and i'll also use some STIM stuff during those 4 days
