Monday
135 lb. weighted front plank - 1 set of 20 seconds

50 lb. weighted pistol squat
left
  • 1 set of 3
  • 1 set of 3
  • 1 set of 1
right
  • 1 set of 3
  • 1 set of 3

Tuesday
Four 40 yard sprints
Two full-court games
pullups, chinups, some half-assed leg raises
1 set of 10, 1 set of 5 - natural GHR

Notes: Sore. All over. Played well in the full-court games. I was actually just passing by this court when these guys were down one man and asked me to join. I said yeah, but I didn't bring my gear so I had to play barefoot. I'm used to it, anyway. It was fun.

I need to weight my leg raises, otherwise I get bored. I'm probably able to do 20 but I don't feel like applying any focus on anything that goes past 10 reps, lol.

Did my usual shit these past few weeks. Pistol squats (lowered the weight to 45 lb. pounds and slow eccentrics to get some hypertrophy done). Did a 55 lb. pistol squat last Friday. I feel like I could hit a 60 lb. single, but I'll keep on doing 45 lbers. to get my muscle right. This is sort of going on what Lance suggested in that one thread. Been focusing on hypertrophy for most sessions then I'll mix it up with a heavy session.

Front planks, switched natural GHRs to twice a week, single leg glute bridges (tried a 180 lb. single leg bridge for 1 set of 5 yesterday, as opposed to a hold), and upper body stuff, weighted pushups and nonweighted pullups.

I probably won't be updating for a while, as there's no internet right now. I'm posting this from a cafe, actually, lol.

One thing of note: won a Nike contest and got a gift certificate for roughly 250 dollars. Bought a pair of Kobe VIIs and a bag.
