This is impressive. Activists hung a (hand painted?) banner at US Bank Stadium (US Bank has ~100+ million invested in the pipeline) and repelled from the stadium.

Already starting to get the ball rolling on the mexican wall border.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/25/us/politics/refugees-immigrants-wall-trump.html?_r=0

He says 'a nation without borders is not a nation at all' and he's solution is to build a wall.  :P
good luck with that lol.

this one's for you, adarq: http://www.learnprogress.org/dan-rather-ends-retirement/

https://www.newsandgutsmedia.com/projects

thnx :D

Ya i'm loving Dan's near-daily thoughts on what's going on. It's also really cool watching him gather so much support on Social Media. I remember him saying someone had to force him, kicking and dragging, to try out facebook.. and now he absolutely loves it - he's written about it a few times. He seems genuinely in awe of the response he's gotten.

I'm following newsandguts too, but right now the real deal is still Dan Rather's wall lmao!!

Shame on the GOP for not forcing this "master deal maker" to make his magical deal.. I guess he made the deal with voters, and that's all he needed to do. But he said he would get Mexico to pay for it 100% .... If they agreed, then fine, build your stupid wall. But it's become a matter of national pride to them at this point, they aren't going to pay for it in any form. The potential trade war will mean they will always try and recoup their losses, on anything Trump imposes on them (afaik).

And beyond that, the level of disrespect Trump is showing towards Mexico is sickening. These people are our neighbor, trade partner, etc. They are good people and he thinks he's found some weak nation he can flex his muscle on.

I'm really rooting for Mexico here. Hopefully they can embarrass Trump & make him look like a fool.

I absolutely hate bullies.. this shit is a wreck right now.

U.S. military officials told Reuters that Trump approved his first covert counterterrorism operation without sufficient intelligence, ground support or adequate backup preparations.

As a result, three officials said, the attacking SEAL team found itself dropping onto a reinforced al Qaeda base defended by landmines, snipers, and a larger than expected contingent of heavily armed Islamist extremists.

this is an erratic administration with travel bans and an Iran war looming.. they are all over the place. give me a break.

nice. she's solid.

I dno why this stuff is so "hard to understand" though, it's baffling.. Predominantly white/christian nations can't even begin to act like they have the moral high ground; the truth of history won't permit it. Radical/Extremist <insert religion> all suck. Any mixing of religion + politics + military seems to be a recipe for disaster, regardless of whether you're a muslim, christian, jew, etc.

When fundamentalists control government, military, culture; we are all fucked.

It's nice to see videos like that.. reminds me of the people i've interacted with IRL.

and this is why I always come back to US foreign policy, especially the war in Iraq:

https://theintercept.com/2017/02/18/why-do-so-many-americans-fear-muslims-decades-of-denial-about-americas-role-in-the-world/

They made a great point in that article.. that if the US doesn't admit (to the people) how it's policies have helped to create terrorism & conflict in the middle east, then the only logical conclusion to a considerable amount of people is that "muslims just want to kill us and destroy our way of life - just because". Makes them almost seem zombie/walking-dead like, I imagine.
