Did you know some republicans are trained to say "democrat" instead of "democratic" when referring to a democratic party candidate so that it ends in "rat"?

they send out these stupid memos & get on conference calls where they discuss that sort of thing:

http://www.businessinsider.com/revealed-how-to-talk-like-a-republican-2011-10?op=1

http://messagingmatters.com/2011/03/10/political-phrases-used-by-republicans/

if you watch the popular american media channels, out of nowhere you'll see every republican politician, analyst, pundit, surrogate etc say the same catch phrases and such.

the democrats do it too, but, it seems more prevalent on the GOP side.

This wasnt a video in response to our discussion, I thought this was American, I thought this was the LOL thread!!!!!! haha jk it just a separate post from our discussion of him breaking down how anti gun people skew the facts.

Obamacare is pretty fucking bad lol

They will use terms such as Automatic weapons a lot when its completely wrong and they know it is but it sounds scary.  You can buy a rocket launcher, get the license and yeah you can buy one but nobody has gone out and blown up part of a school with one so nobody cares.  As far as sandy hook they kept saying how they found automatics or ar15s in the trunk when clearly it was a shotgun.

Well if you dont like him then dont watch his videos on Bernie lol

Lets get off guns because its not going anywhere.

Remember when everyone was saying that there is no evidence that increasing the minimum wage will increase unemployment?

Wendys is ordering 6,000 Automated Kiosks for their stores to keep the price of food down, along with obviously mcdonalds which can be fully automated, Carls jr, etc etc.  ahead of the 15$hr minimum.  UC Berkely just cut 500 jobs ahead of the minimum wage spike.  These people are basically protesting to lose their jobs lol  I'm all for automated systems, shit is faster and cleaner so you wont eat a meal and find out you just got HepC (which happened in a town near me a few months back at two places)  So this fucking kid got it and basically everyone who ate mcdonalds that day were offered shots for it, by while that was going on he got another job at a pizza shop so they had to do the same thing there lol

Torres: The Bulletin’s official press release specifically criticizes the Republican Party for “[standing] alone in the world in failing to acknowledge even that human-caused climate change is a problem.” And the Bulletin’s press conference included references to the difficult “political climate” in which the Obama administration forged the Iran nuclear deal. Some people might see this as a partisan attack on the Republicans from—well, you’re a progressive atheist, for instance. Do you think it’s unfair to single out a political party like this?

Krauss: No. It was kind of an amazing thing for the Bulletin to say—and an unfortunate thing for us to have to say. It’s not partisan at all. These are neither Democratic nor Republican issues. What’s unfortunate is that if you look at the modern industrial world, for better or worse there’s this anomaly right now that the Republican Party is the only major political organization that’s propagating myths about climate change. It’s particularly climate change that was addressed. It is true also that at this point any major nuclear weapons agreement seems to be stalled—or dead—in the House and Senate. But I think there we were talking more about the dysfunctional state of the U.S. government system rather than the Republican Party. You know, nothing the president wants to do is approved. But I think that [calling out the Republicans over] climate change is a real statement. In fact, we’ve had international members of the Bulletin who point out that we don’t find incoherent anti–climate-change propaganda coming from any major political party of any major industrialized country except for the United States.

Torres: That’s truly an incredible situation—to have a political party that’s literally pushing civilization toward the precipice of disaster.

Krauss: You can say that again.

This is so sad... seriously... "John Miller"? And then accepting it was you? And then denying it was you?

Trump is a genius. He is the one who released the tape. See everybody already stopped talking about his taxes.
The Trump show goes on. As it should.
I wonder how many people called the John Oliver show pretending to be John Miller just to get on the TV. Now we will have many pretenders of the pretender.

Absolutely. Granted, ~30 people work on the show, it's not "a genius by himself" doing it. Regardless, it's still awesome.

^^ this is both sad thread & lol thread..

trump leads hillary 45-42% in a fox news poll.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-leads-hillary-clinton-poll_us_573dae56e4b0646cbeec2c9c

i've already come to grips with the fact that trump could very well become the next president of USA. ;( my only consolation is that, if he becomes president, he'll just rip the hearts out of those who supported him so strongly on his crazy-right wing rhetoric.. because he'd probably go back to being liberal if he gets into the whitehouse.

:( :(

"liberal"... lel... he doesn't even know what these words mean... he just cares about himself and his image. If that means being "liberal", "left-wing", "right-wing", "fascist"... he doesn't care, he doesn't even care on memorizing what these words mean - they're just words.

What's important is how all these things impact his image, because it's that image of "success" that is keeping him rich. Today he says X. But if tomorrow X proves to be bad for his image, then Y, which is completely opposite to X, is a perfectly reasonable choice. Capitalism at its best - just do whatever maximizes profit, with no ulterior motive.
