Zimmerman Trial

I think they might be able to get Zimmerman acquitted (if thats the word to let him go) they don't have any solid evidence to show he attacked for any other reasons besides self defence, rachel's witness was their only hope but the defence they find way to prove her to be unreliable and the lawyers they try their best to ask twisted questions to confuse the witness.

I was listening to when the defence attorney was asking the mother "if she had hoped it was her son so he didn't kill himself" the word he used "hope" is the wrong word to use but to make them change their opinion from it was to hoped it was can change everything.
damn lawyers, when he said "Hoped" i knew this lawyer is playing tricky they try their best to confuse the witness and that's

I hope zimmerman gets the guilty verdict, the case has wrapped up and i think they are going to wait for the juries decision,
whenever that is going to be.

anyone know what's going to happen now?

That was the most stupidest verdict i have ever heard he was charged not guilty for murder or any charges they had against him, i didn't think the charge of child abuse was going to stick but still.
They gave him the verdict of not guilty who were the jury.

So if I come to America and shoot a random black kid after I follow him with my gun, me armed and he without a gun and then claim I was in self defense (despite the 911 officer telling me not to pursue him) then I'm OK and I can kill anybody I want? Well, that's good to know. Lovely democracy!

what charge of child abuse? what the fuck are you smoking? he was charged with second degree murder, and the jury was allowed to convict of manslaughter if they didn't find zimmerman guilty of second degree murder.

this was not the jury's fault, they seem to have ruled according to the letter of the law. the problem is that the law is unbelievably fucked up.

I was referring to the third degree charge they wanted to stick on him about for child abuse as he was a minor at the time of his death.
They found him not guilty of second degree murder, i know which was their main charge against him.

Quote
Prosecutors argue that instructions for third-degree murder should be included on the premise that Mr Zimmerman committed child abuse when he fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin because Martin was underage.

This is what i was talking about.

and the jurors didn't even convict of manslaughter, which makes it even more ridiculous.

I can agree with you that the law is definitely unbelievabley fucked up

....

did you just say the juror's convicted him according to the letter of the law, i thought the jury was made up of a certain number people who decide among themselves according to the evidence presented to them and using nothing but their judgement they make a verdict. i don't think they go according to the letter of the law or the rules of judgement else they would not need a jury that's what the lawyer is therefore. why would you get a jury who only make a verdict according to the guidelines of the law, don't they have power to come up with a decision as a consensus and agree on a verdict.

That is correct.

I agree that Travon shouldn't have died, but this video makes me reconsider some of the events I thought I knew.
