Agreed re. inno, I always viewed the system as one that people used who wanted to experiment with training as a sort of curiosity rather than follow "boring" proven methods.

I'm still working hard each and every day towards my goal of playing in the NFL.  In November, Green Bay flew me up for a workout with a few other players and I absolutely killed it.  Definitely the best workout I've put together.  I did a 38'' vert, 10'8 broad jump, 4.07 short shuttle and a 4.4 in the 40 (FieldTurf).  My agent feels optimistic about a futures contract with a few teams and I can't tell you how much I miss the game.

Another development you may not have caught wind of is my participation in the USA Bobsled Push Championships.  I did very well considering it was my first time behind a sled.  If I decided to compete this year I would currently be pushing for USA II on the World Cup Circuit.  For those of you who are interesting in absolute performance and raw power, bobsled is it--bar none.  There were a few athletes I ran into that I would put against just about anybody in the NFL when it comes to the combination of speed, strength and size.  I witnessed a guy broad jump 11'6''!  We'll see what happens but I would love to be in Sochi in 2014.

I need to talk to Carl about the video, he has it and I'm sure he would put it back up if I asked.  I probably should find a way to make a new one, as I'm better in every way since then (was working around a few injuries at the time).

As a point of reference, these are my current numbers:

Height: 6'2
Weight: 222 (had a slight sprain of my right big toe that caused my lifting volume to increase for the past month)
30m touchpad: 3.86 FAT a day after a dozen accels., probably good for 3.80
Clean: 160k, would like to hit 170k at some point.
Bench: 405, don't have an interest in going any heavier in the foreseeable future, too risky.
Squat: 230kg deep, 540 to a bench.
Front Squat: 405, a lift I've probably done 4-5 times since college.  Probably the hardest max attempt I've ever had!

Going forward all that really matters to me in terms of training is staying healthy and getting even faster.  Everything else is supplemental to those goals.

Hadn't checked on this site in a very long time, I think it was still pure dedication at the time.  Nice forum Andrew, seems that the DB forum died, good to see people still going after their goals.

I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my training that anybody may have.
