MAVS 2011 NBA CHAMPIONS

2-1 miami, sup?

a great series is what's up. i'm over hating lebron and the heat, they will absolutely have earned it if they pull this series off. i'd still like dallas to win so dirk and kidd can get theirs before it's too late, though.

+1 on the Dirk and Kidd getting theirs b4 it's too late ....like next year. Lebron disappeared 8 points wtf?!!! On the other hand Dwade is absolutely a beast, he's got that killer mentality. They double him at the top of the key and he still won't give up the ball. Almost every time he touches the ball you know something bad is going to happen to Dallas.

Do you think it was 10' or higher like 10'2 Adarq?

I think that narrow(around shoulder width) best fits for 2 legged jumpers, but the narrower the stance the more pressure on your back (range of motion is increased). So the optimal stance is as close to shoulder width as you feel comfortable going heavy. Imo individual based. My knees are approx. shoulder width w/ my toes around 60-70 degree angle.

Maybe it has to do with your spinal erectors. I have a similar problem with heavy squats parallel and atg because I feel my back gives out more than my legs. You can try adding some hyperextensions or good mornings into your routine and see if that helps.

110602 Jump Jump Jump

Btw, during these jump, i notice the feeling is much different compare to the Depth jump i did in the gym.
In the gym, i jump without arm swing due to low ceiling indoor.  and i can not really feel my leg is FULLY stretching to the max..
not sure if it is because of the rubber padded flooring or what..

i am starting to think, all those depth jump in the gym might be useless... it does not feel anythign like my max effort jump i did today...

Your goal is to increase your max vert, so all plyo's should be done for max height or distance. You can still do those box jumps indoors, but I would recommend doing them as jump tucks.

I'm not sure if you're serious :o, but if you really want to lose 20 plus lbs just become a vegan. I guarantee you would lose that weight if you didn't use oils and took brown rice or soy protein shakes.

Don't know if this video belongs in this section, but at 2:22 , AUT says that core flexibility is key to your vert.

Btw, old man with belly proceeded to the right to do leg presses where I then saw his pendulous balls hang out his shorts. Not the first time.

  :uhhhfacepalm: That's freaggin gross.

Sick form on the vid mang!! Really impressive stuff!!! Can't imagine how much you could put up if you trained for 1/2 squats.

ADARQ & LanceSTS - Q&A / hyperextension vs glute ham raise
« on: May 23, 2011, 02:27:56 pm »
 Dear Adarq and LanceSTS,

I am confused :uhhhfacepalm: on which exercise to use. I have been doing the weighted 1 legged hypers using my glutes as the prime mover.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jh45myksaEs

I have 2 questions:

1. Should I just switch to natural glute ham raise?

2. Should I do both, but use the lower back as the prime mover for the hyperextensions?
