« on: October 22, 2011, 06:16:44 am »
I was looking through the bodybuilding.com website for supplements to use during hypertrophy and i found the following.

which one do you think i should take, i heard good things about hydro whey.

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/opt/platinum_hydrowhey.html

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/opt/whey.html - this has whey from isolates as well as fast acting hydro whey

or if there is one you can find anywhere which is better.

Thanks

and hot chicks love it.

The only benefit I've seen thus far.

you don't think someone could improve overall fitness/conditioning and even strength, using crossfit? i do.

:)

I sure do. But I haven't been looking at that. Like I quoted, "hot chicks" are the only benefits I've SEEN thus far.

oh.. ;F

lots of the vids on crossfitHQ youtube have hot chicks training and dude's with pretty impressive physiques (NH).

That is some crazy stuff man!. I don't see many innovative workout techniques that are not around yet.
1.58 is a good one, for the trolly dashers if you want to compete in supermarket sweep or something lol.

Will this be a good supplement to take before going to bed. Can someone give more info about this what it is, will you recommend it for someone who is doing sprinting. what's the amount i should take.

Is it necessary as much as whey protein powder and will be useful in hypertrophy or strength training?
thanks

Now probably because i can do 40+ jumps with 1 and 2 leg i am going to add weights. Not going to using ankle weights tied around my ankle but just place ankle weights in my pocket to weigh me down. That will be good during the ladder drill, skipping and the flying 30's

Also everyday i will be going through a secret routine which i will not disclose, but will disclose after i get results. so keep an eye out for the results of the secret routine.  :ninja:

Entering 4th week.

Boxing / Re: Bernard Hopkins vs Chad Dawson

I don't know what to say to this but wtf happened.

hopkins says he grabbed both of his leg when looking at the replay i can see dawson's right arm close to his body attacking him with his shoulder and the other arm grabbed the leg but quickley let go and just threw him off his back not too much to throw him on the floor. That guy didn't have a bad leg that he couldn't maintain balance enough. but probably the ref would have counted it as a knockout if he did try to maintain balance as he would probably touch the gloves on the floor and would give him a bad score.

it looks as though he was not faking it but exaggerated more than it is and didn't realize he would get hurt on his shoulder.

so i don't know, im stumped  :-\

Strength, Power, Reactivity, & Speed Discussion / Re: Leg Stiffness???
« on: October 13, 2011, 10:24:22 am »
Flying 30's are good speed drill. you determine where you will start running from then mark a point to where you will be able to reach your max velocity from the start point and then 30m's from that point you marked for you to try and maintain that top speed for 30m's.

|--------------------------------------|<------------------30m----------------------------------------------------------->|
Start_____Top Speed Attained_______maintain speed until the end point____________End

i would probably do the acceleration stuff first then the top speed stuff. i don't know about others.

what are flying 30's. Should i do the top speed stuff before or after acceleration stuff. or on another day. or until later on.

Since i am doing the speed agility and quickness drills, because i want to be able to do 60 2 legged lateral line jumps in 10 seconds.

i can do get 44-46 50 if i try really hard but not there yet.

so i was wondering would it be a bad idea if was to do the exercise with ankle weights? ladder drills, jump rope, flying 30's or would it have a negative impact.

not sure the pros and cons of ankle weights and what if i was to have the ankle weights attached for a the whole day, like have it on all day today, tomorrow get accustom to it until i can do with it what i could do without it.

thanks

is it more efficient to test with shoes then barefoot.
when i test with barefoot i try as fast as i can that gradually my feet just drag on the floor back and forth and ruins the pattern.
it is really hard to get 60 jumps in 10 seconds?!

but will keep with the training. hard to test and to keep track of time as i do it myself.

If you are referring to my speed agility and quickness drills then no i just found some drills put them into a routine so it is my own routine i made. the video i don't know who is in it but i got it from stronglifts website for hip mobility drills, like the drill alot but gets tiring on my quads hips and hams when you have to go up and down stay down then go up then go down do it 8 times. but once done that's it done only one set.

np

Since the site was down. i have completed one week and have a lot to say

the workout went as normal

i am gradually improving the jump rope technique i can do 1 leg fast, alternate but since the rope is short i have to bring my arms below or level to hips but still get it over me.

when i do the ladder drills i try to move legs up and down as fast as possible when going through the ladder and this cause area around my last 2 fingers to pain most pain on the second from last toe of my right feet, am i running on the edge of the balls of my feet or is it something else?

i ran the 60m while i was counting; i know biased results, but counted mississiply and got 7 missis which is 6.5 which is good.

i also tried to blow out when one of my hands comes in front not both.

workout going well.

peace
