Man that vid of you dribbling is fu*cking sick. How did u get handles like that? I've tried a whole bunch of different shit to improve my handles and nothing seems to happen....

thanks man.. well, all i really did is dribble alot... for example, i'd play like 4 hours of basketball a day growing up.. but if our team lost on the street or i had to wait for a game, i'd never be sitting, i'd be on the side dribbling watching the games, while dribbling, working on all kinds of different movements.

when i got my ipod and i was bored with bball, i'd just goto the park and dribble for a few hours just changing up my dribbling based on the song..

i would do alot of different drills, but mostly i would spend time working on going hard on a few moves and then putting moves together etc..

i'll get a better/more explosive vid out in a few weeks maybe 2-3 weeks.. i was also planning on putting out some examples of how i work on my handles a bit, like drills and just dribbling for 3 minutes straight working on stuff.

Quote
there are some killer crossovers in that man, i would hate to guard you, do people say anything when they drivde past? :P,

my crossover sucks right now too, and my dribbling.. it can get ALOT better.

nope, if people say anything it's usually a confrontation so that rarely happens.. they probably just think im a nut.

Quote
if only u could get your vert back as easy as your handles  ::)

i know right.. haha.. i've only had 1 year out of my 27 year life, with good vert though :)

i had pretty much the best handles in my middle school/high school growing up, i put alot of work into them during those years.. i was obsessed with j-will and tim hardaway :F

peace man

eddie lives about 35 minutes away from me so we don't really train anymore since i left MSC.. sucks man, loved training with him and all those other people.. i don't think he's really been training, maybe playing basketball occasionally.. so :/

thanks, ya it was very tough.. i do all of these workouts without any water too.

lol ya.. 11 inches to pr, that's funny when you think about it.. im pretty sure i will get back up to 11' without lifting.. all this damn bodyweight crap im doing + sprinting + shadow boxing etc is making me feel very strong.. my calfs are becoming very strong, but at the same time they are suffering small injuries.. the stress from those interval sprints on my calfs is bigtime. During calf raises tonight, my body lifted so easily, so powerful, on each calf raise rep, honestly better than ive ever felt.. so they are getting alot stronger.

ya i'd get 'depressed' when i had a bad vert session, BUT, after that temporary depression it would turn into anger and then fuel me hardcore, whether it was in workouts or another jump session.

cya man

ya.. it's all about making sure every workout you don't stop early.. if you stop early for one workout then that reinforces the quit syndrome imo.

so far so good.
