i dont think he destroyed her unfortunately. he needs to get better at answering the gun questions.. that's one area where he's always too passive. he needs to be alot more aggressive in explaining why you shouldnt be able to sue a gun manufacturer who is making a legal product. i don't get liberals who are for that. asking him to apologize for a logical policy stance is typical snaky hillary.. bernie has said that if she wants him to apologize to sandy hook victims, she should apologize to families of fallen soldiers killed in iraq. dno why he didnt hit her with that. maybe too much for the deb8 stage, or it slipped his mind like usual. wish he'd tighten up on that shit.. like when she told him it's not a laughing matter (when he was laughing while she was talking about guns), but she laughs in response to everything he says.. this is all stupid imagery stuff but he's just not great at seizing those moments in debates.

hey adarqui why don't you go to sleep at 11 PM like a normal person.

because I woke up at 4:30 PM

feh!

the good news is my left heel feels good. bad news is my right elbow feels like poop.

04/16/2016

Bio: Morning

sleep = 9 hours
wakeup = 4:30 PM
bw = 150
morning resting heart rate = didn't measure
soreness = none
aches = right tennis elbow slightly - bad at night, sacral spine issue flaring up
injuries = toenails wrekt
feel = good

Food

4:30 PM

- sausage egg and cheese on a pumpernickel bagel
- heavenly chocolate chip / chocolate muffin
- pure sugarless green tea

Session: Evening

8:30 PM - 10 PM

at the court:
- basketball dribbling, jump shots, etc
- knocking down j's lefty and righty, like a boss.
- bball comes back to me real quick.. probably shot over 1 trillion jump shots in my life.

Food

10:30 PM

- 2% milk
- 2 x egg rolls
- hot mint tea
- biscotti

Food

4 AM

- 2 x wheat bread with peanut butter
- banana
- greek yogurt

iced right elbow a few times.

worked on this the last few days:
- https://github.com/adarqui/purescript-interop-prime

actually works.. need to do a few more things before I can implement it into the forum-rewrite project. If and when I implement it, i'll be able to remove like 10k lines of code... and instead rely on this library to auto-generate all of that code, and more... sounds like a dream, can't wait.

The last thing I need to do, for now, is move everything to RWST and generate the lens fields for purescript. Once that is done... I should be able to do a massive pruning of my code base. I'd like to also figure out a way to generate api routines for the purescript client.... Havn't thought of a great way to do it yet but, i'd like to actually get something working there too so that I can rip out all of that code too.

This saves my life for one major reason: say tomorrow I want to add the ability for people to have blogs on the site.. well I need a blog type, blog comments type, blog comment ratings, blog rating, blog subscribers types etc.. So, then i'd have to code those out in haskell AND purescript while blood squirts furiously from my eyeballs. Instead, now i'll just be able to write the types in haskell and auto-generate all of the purescript code as well as the json instances for haskell too.

fuck ya, basically.

even worse.. spent most of tonight working on it.. got it working real nice, in the dev env for the lib itself.. then I go install it in my other lib (the one that actually matters) as a dependency -> tons of errors. need to figure that out tomorrow.. some weird crap going on, never had this happen before.. probably something build related.. but I was happy to test it around ~5 AM tonight and then bam,  :raging:

best workout today in a long time, felt really good.

04/17/2016

Bio: Morning

sleep = 7.5 hours
wakeup = 1:30 PM
bw = 150
morning resting heart rate = didn't measure
soreness = left bicep pretty sore (no idea)
aches = right tennis elbow slightly
injuries = toenails wrekt
feel = good

Food

2 PM

- wheat toast with peanut butter
- beet + tart cherry juice
- pure sugaraless green tea

Session: Afternoon

4 PM

felt very bouncy, really good lungs/heart, no aches.. and the weather was great out.

run to court:
- 3.76 mi in 26:45
- pace: 7:07 min/mi
- avg speed: 8.4 mph
- max speed: 10.1 mph
- first mile split: 6:42 min/mi
- pushed it on the first mile, then backed off slightly.. felt so good

jumps at court:
- L-SLRVJ max touch of ~10'5
- R-SLRVJ backboard taps
- easier ~10'3 touches with L-SLRVJ than normal.. still can't get passed that 10'5.
- jumps felt pretty good
- did some long runups from half court too, just working on that because eventually I want to be able to build speed and handle it from half court

run home: jog & long sprint
- 3.69 mi in 28:27
- avg speed: 7.8 mph
- max speed: 11.7 mph
- this is actually better than both of the items above.. definitely my fastest run home AFTER running to a court & jumping.. legs felt very strong.. got in some nice sprints, maybe ~15-20 or so.

overall, great session.

later tonight, feeling sore from it.. especially in my glutes, which is definitely a good thing.. bottoms of feet also sore though, don't like that.

Food

6 PM

- 2% milk

Food

9 PM

- big spicy stir fry with grilled chicken, potatoes, carrots, garlic, olives, brussels sprouts, tomato, mixed nuts
- alot of blue corn chips with fresh spicy salsa and guacamole
- watermelon! fuckya.

Session: Recovery

10 PM

- iced right elbow
- elbow was bugging more after my training session than before

Food

11 PM

- hot mint tea
- biscotti

Session: Recovery

2 AM

- some light stretching

Food

5 AM

- wheat toast with peanut butter
- banana
- greek yogurt
- grape fruit juice

got lots of coding done.. but the real satisfaction for today was the miami heat beasting out against the hornets.. damn they looked good.

:D

I'll check them out when I get to work to keep myself occupied and post it.

Theres a video of her trying to lie her way through some old farts question that they probably planted in the audience.  She talks about how Australias is only a buyback program with stricter gun control after that.  What she failed to mention was if you didn't turn in your guns that you were looking at 1 year in prison.   I'll find the other video i just hate having to listen to her cuz it just makes me furious  and I want to punch my computer monitor.

Also, that god damn Obamacare.  For my company, before obamacare the lowest rate was like 55 bucks a month, now the lowest rate is 125 or so a month.  We need change my ass, take your cash for clunkers and take a hike dumbledore

Also Bernie or some one needs to address this shit.

Can anyone tell me what kind of job this description would be for?

ya everything is way too expensive, it's such trash. i've only ever had insurance through companies I worked for, and I rarely paid much attention to costs during those time periods. Most of my life (growing up, in college, and when not working), i've never had insurance.. either have my parents.

but for my mom's insurance, for 3+ years I paid 1400 a month, on average.. which is just psychotic.. but prior to ACA (Obamacare), she couldn't even get insurance... so at least they managed to get rid of that pre-existing condition rule.. HOWEVER. It almost seems like they got rid of it just so that they could make more money by charging insane prices.

as for myself.. once I quit my job, I looked for some affordable insurance on healthcare.gov... without work, everything was ~180-200$ per month, just for the cheapest catastrophic insurance plan.. I qualified for one of those vouchers or whatever, to get like ~40% back come tax time. But it really annoyed me so much that I just settled for having no insurance and would rather pay the penalty.

so here I am paying alot (to me it's alot) for my mom's insurance, while unemployed, and not covering myself.

so to me, the biggest thing that matters in this election is health care.. then reducing the role of money in politics/energy/climate change/anti aggression. I've witnessed two people go bankrupt because of health care. Nothing bothers me more than people in this country having to stress about their health. Not just my family, but everyone.

I don't care what gets us there... medicare for all, or extreme competition. I'll take either one. The socialist way (medicare for all) by raising taxes, fine by me.. as long as everyone in this country is covered. If republicans win, then they need to figure out how to make a damn "dollar menu" for health care, ie, make it so damn competitive and get rid of waste, that health care basically becomes fast food but without neglecting quality. There's just too many criminals in politics for that to happen though.

the stuff that's going on in this country with health care, war, education, infrastructure, etc.. is a damn crime.

Also Bernie or some one needs to address this shit.

To me, I feel he cares the most about all of these issues. That's why me (and so many others) have really embraced him. If he wasn't in the race, I wouldn't be enthusiastic about any candidate.

That's 25 times more than me yesterday. Nice.

Basically it's how much I would run in two months of track work.

hah. that puts it in perspective.

i have another route I want to run which is ~26 miles one way.. I probably would need to get a ride home. but maybe not.. maybe i say fuck it and attempt 52.. I doubt it though. This route is a run to the Boca Raton campus of my university (FAU). They have such sick outdoor basketball hoops.. i miss em`. I also miss sneaking into their division-1 bball gym and dunking.

How would you feel if you were to attempt to run this same distance at my bodyweight? (~210 lbs)

well when I was ~207 I went out for a run, but, I wasn't in good shape at all.. could barely run a mile. legs tingling like crazy, had to stop at around ~0.75 mi. That was a bad moment.

if I was in good shape at 207? I imagine my knees/feet/ankles would be alot achier than they are right now. I've never been in good shape past 180 lb. though so, no idea really.

marathons seem to be a huge deal for most people who attempt them.. most people in america are heavy, even if they are in good shape. So i'm not sure how they feel after running a marathon. On the flip side, i'm actually under weight. One of my goals is to be able to run marathon (or more) distance and feel basically fine the next day. Not sure if I could do stuff like that and weigh ~180 for example, for my body structure. I'm a weak lanky string bean.

Have I ever posted this here? This is me at ~207 in mid ~2014. It's a work pic. Man o man, what a wreck. That's what happened with no training, tons of all nighters, late work nights, non stop catered food from Chipotle & Longhorn grill (18 oz ribeye, 24 oz porterhouse). My athletic apatite never left me.. I think that happens to most athletes later on in life, if they stop training. They can't stop eating and blow up. lmao.

I look like prime adarqui right now though (somewhat athletic).. well, definitely a bit less muscled (everywhere, but especially thighs/glutes).

maybe that's some motivation for you raptor, to get unfat & ript/shredded.  :ninja:

legs felt a bit drained today, so decided I wasn't going to jump. Then jr mentioned the Boston Marathon took place today.. so I figured i'd do something i've wanted to do for a while, run to the beach and back.

from the swamp, to the beach, back to the swamp.

(I live right near the everglades).

04/18/2016

Bio: Morning

sleep = 8.5 hours
wakeup = 3 PM
bw = 151
morning resting heart rate = didn't measure
soreness = quads slightly, bottoms of feet very slightly
aches = right tennis elbow barely!!
injuries = toenails wrekt
feel = good

Food

3 PM

- greek yogurt
- pure sugarless green tea
- orange juice

Food

5 PM

- 2 x wheat toast with peanut butter
- pure sugarless green tea

Session: Evening

6:10 PM

strava:

- https://www.strava.com/activities/718934825

bodyweight before: 152 lb
bodyweight after: 145 lb

total distance PR: 25.51 mi  :personal-record:
- previous max total distance run in one day, ~15 mi
- previous unofficial distance run when I boxed: ~22 mi (measured with mapmyrun, so, not as accurate as garmin.. could have made errors with measurements etc, so F that stat).

 :ibrunning:

run to beach (literally to the ocean):
- 13.06 mi in 1h:40m:41s
- calories: ~1,617
- pace: 7:43 min/mi
- speed: 7.8 mph

- lots of small elevation changes! apparently this route to the beach has lots of level changes, and some big bridges etc.. so I got my first taste of going up & down:
- min elevation: -3 ft
- max elevation: 16 ft

- LOTS of street crossings.. worst one was when I had to stop for a few minutes when a train went by.

splits:
- nearly every split under 8 min/mi! only two slightly over 8 min/mi

actually happy about that ^^

- chilled at the beach for ~15 minutes or so.
- walked ~0.5 mi to publix to get some coconut water and a small coffee, thinking it might help prevent any potential cramping... I should have just drunk some water.. that stuff actually gave me stomach discomfort. HEH!

run home (beach to swamp):
- 12.45 mi in 2h:01m:42s
- slow, didn't push it
- also was trying not to fully cramp up
- felt decent though.. quads/calves/feet started getting a little tired
- pace: 9:46 min/mi
- speed: 6.1 mph

during my run, I saw some basketball courts I had forgotten about.

Food

10 PM

- 2% milk

Food

11:30 PM

- beef + chili bean soup
-- I love this soup, I get it from whole foods.. worth trying.
- tons of blue corn chips + fresh hot salsa
- some watermelon

Food

4 AM

- greek yogurt
- grape fruit juice

feel pretty good.. legs/feet a bit achy.. quads tired.. right hip flexor a bit achy.. overall feel good though.

got alot of programming done tonight. fixed the errors from yesterday. need to write a small library tomorrow, just something simple to support json instances for Date in purescript.. so I imagine: purescript-date-json-helpers. Need to get that done before I can move on with the purescript-interop-prime library.

gn!!!!
