bw = 160
soreness = none really, achy though
aches/injuries = quads achy, calfs achy, itband achy, both achilles tender on warmup of workout

workout:
- long warmup
- ~200 #1 + jog out the 400 #1 = ~28s + 1:08
- ~200 #2 + jog out the 400 #2 = ~28s + 1:20
- ~290 #3 + jog out the 400 #3 = ~38s + 1:14
- ~290 #4 = 38s
- walking lunges: 2 x 25 each leg <--- glutes have gotten so much weaker since having stopped doing lunges
- neutral grip pullups: BW x 8
- bar dips: 6
- GHR: BW @ 3 x 3
- pushups: 22
- double leg hamstring iso: no idea how long, 1 set


~200 & ~290's felt great.. the 200's are more like 220 yards, leg measured.. the ~290's are around 290-310.. it's just the distance between some light poles, but it's a good marking.. these measurements mean nothing when compared to track numbers, just something for me to keep progress at this park i run at.

man my glutes are weak as shit right now.. stopping those walking lunges = worst decision ever.. i had some turf-toe though, so i kind of had too, but, i'm getting back on them.. those walking lunges are much more important than squatting imo.

yes yes y'all, lunges stick it to ur glutes like no other, my medius gets torn apart with the lateral lunges. i never heard of turftoe, jus looked it up, sounds similar to the symptoms of trigger points in adductor hallucis/flexor hallucis brevis  :-\ sorry 4u if you hav them, doesnt feel good hittin them ones xD

ya when i was doing insanely high rep walking lunges, my glutes were firing incredibly.. i stop for 2 weeks and they feel weak as shit.. hehe

ya it's most likely an actual strain/sprain in there.. it's been getting better for the last 2 weeks so, time to get back into those lunges.. i plan on doing them again sunday.

edit: at the end of my run, my shirt had blood all over it.. my damn nipple had a small hole on the tip of it, the shirt must have gnawed it down, nasty.

bw = 160
soreness = glutes (right especially)
aches/injuries = right 2nd toe nail hurts

workout #1: dunks
- pretty good until i got stuffed by the rim and fell on my back lol..
- was getting up great until then, had 5 total makes, only two of those i really like though..
- had some big misses too
- best dunk session in a long time


workout #2: running = 6.57 miles non stop
- 4.56 miles in 39:30 (6:19:30 to 6:58:30)
-- avg's to 8:39/mile
- 6.57 miles in 58 (6:19:30 to 6:18)
-- avg's to 8:49/mile
- goal was to run the full 8 miles, but i bitched out like a bitch.. i wasn't pushing the speed much and it showed hehe
- PRE_RUN_WEIGHT: 161, POST_RUN_WEIGHT: 155


tentative schedule:
sat = light
sun = 200's + squat + lunges + upper etc
mon = dunks + 3.9 mile run for speed

ya man.. im trying to make a push for 150 lb BW.. all this running im doing + my cleaned up diet should help.. i'm just getting pissed that i'm not jumping peak because of say 10 lb of fat on me that's weighing me down.. part of my ideology is to get ridiculously ripped and i've yet to do that..

not trying to sound like an anorexic or anything, just saying, at 150 and 10 lb of fat less i should hit 40.. so i've gotten pretty annoyed lately with that, which has given me more focus :D

one of the best superset's i've ever done in my life, tonight

8/21/2010

bw = 159

aches/injuries = tips of some toes are wrecked, left achilles a bit achy

workout: lots of crap, quads fatigued from last night, low calorie today didn't help any
- 200's x 4
- walking lunges @ 4 x 50tot <-- quads dead in this, lots of glute
- neutral grip pullups: 10
- bar dips: 7
- S1: 200-300 turn jump rope x 8 sets
- S1: 225 lb squat single x 8
- S1-info: alternated that for 8 supersets.. rested one minute after jump rope.. i actually did squat single then went right into jump rope then rest, then repeat..  power on squat became crazy, it was flying up
- GHR @ 3 x 3 <-- nice half reps
- pushups: 25

pretty sick workout.. i was 157 during squatting so, that's nearly 1.5xBW right now.. i could have easily hit 235, so i had 1.5xBW+ power for sure.

150 here we come!@$!@

diet was very light today so, messed up my sprinting a bit.. nearly half pound ground chuck burger ftw.

tomorrow is a light day, monday i hope to do some big jumps.
