My quads are still sore, even though I havent trained legs much this week. Its that deep soreness. I think it might be the vastus intermedius.

you sure it's soreness at this point? lool.. i know what you're talking about though, mine feel like that right now.. quad soreness never feels 'normal' to me, it's always a different feeling.

I dont have a foamroller yet. I need one though. But theyre quite expensive here. Stretching Ive tried. Feels like it hits it, but it doesnt make it go away. Guess I should just go crazy on it and stretch it like a maniac.

stretch (dont go maniac :D) then do a lymph drain, lie down on your back, prop your feet up on something tall so they are relaxed but at 45 degrees, like a bed with pillows on it.. just relax there for 10min.. done.. legs will feel weird, but it helps to remove any pooled inflammatory BS... have to be relaxed or muscle tension will reduce its effectiveness.

i'd start where you left off if you feel good, which you should.. so play it by ear, don't set it in stone yet until after you warmup.

Quote trees get so ridiculous on this site. Flander, if you can't get your hands on a foam roller, just use a soccer ball. A little harder to balance on for some things but it'll have the same effect. In Stretch to Win they actually recommend a ball over a foam roller for most things because it's more maneuverable.
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

Why can't you guys use a plastic bottle full of water or a spray tube?

Why do you have to "buy" everything. I guess all you western guys are spoiled with money.
Current PR status:

All time squat: 165 kg/Old age squat: 130 kg
All time deadlift: 184 kg/Old age deadlift: 140 kg
All time bench: 85 kg/Old age bench: 70kgx5reps
All time hip thrust (same as old age hip thrust): 160kgx5reps

Surely soccer balls are easy to find and inexpensive in Denmark.

I have pvc tubes/hard "paper" tubes/baseball bat I used to use.

next step, graduate to machete foam roll.

Thhis! just use a PVC pipe, its harder and better than a foam roller anyway. if it is to hard rap some carpet or rubber around it.

But everyone should seriously try a Lacrosse ball for there glutes. Best thing i have ever spent money, and also the most painfull.
