I had another appointment with the physio today for my achilles, which has also been recovering slowly. The physio believes I'm almost ready to start jogging again, which is pleasing.

I had a setback! My achilles was painful for the next 2 days! I'm still not ready to jog yet. I have another physio appointment on Monday. Such a frustrating injury to deal with...

Achilles. This is an absolute bastard of an injury. I went to the beach yesterday and within hours my achilles felt sore and was red/swollen/tender.

Squat-
I'm placing 1.25kg plates under my legs to reduce the tension on the achilles.

due to walking in the sand? or from the previous day?

i imagine walking around in the sand could really stress it. that always feels like it could be a real ankle workout when i do it. i don't like walking/running in thick beach sand, feels so weird.
