Something wrong with my ankles?

My ankles are very flexible so even if I do sprang them, it won't matter much because they are so flexible.

However the other day I realized that if I manually twist my feet by grabbing the heal with my hand and twisting it outward, there is a sharp pain/discomfort right here:

Luckily that never happens during running or bball almost ever. Is this normal?

I think I have some type of ankle impingment. It's not the normal posterior or anterior impingemnt. It's kind of like an impingement to the side near the posterior during certain motions, not quite often though.

are you overanalyzing? get it checked by a pro.. don't try and diagnose stuff like that on your own tbh.

i notice lots of people "overanalyzing" feet/ankles much more in the last 2 years or so, ever since it became more hyped up by the foot gurus and such.

we used to do this subtalar release bullshit at some performance facility I interned at, this was in 2008 .. this dude was ahead of alot of people in terms of what's all the "buzz" lately.. but, alot of it was horse shit. He had interns performing this subtalar release technique on people, who really had no idea what they were doing. It looked so damn fancy and magical to the clients/athletes though.. "wow these guys are restructuring my ankle joint!#!@$@", no, you've just been played.

i hate going to the doctors, id rather post about it online than go to doctors office..... it feels like detention sitting there waiting for ages.... :trolldance: :raging: maybe in the future there will be a web scanner that can scan your injuries like a bar code........
