Feeling better this weekend, but still didn't have a MSEM session in me. I did sprints pre-workout as usual and they felt good. Did jumps afterwards and they were not horrible, but no dice on the weights. Thinking of giving it another go today?

This last week has been difficult. Couldn't get time to lift or play ball really. Fridays workout was going good but got interrupted. One of the problems with lifting in your garage. On the bright side 245 came up really solid.

beast mode cont…… My goal was 10 more pounds on my squat by the end of February.

Only missed it by one day on a short month so I am calling this one good. My progress over the month was less focused, but still ended up getting there.

10 more pounds on the bar for my 4/7/7 by April 1 is this months goal. My standing vert is improving, not back to PR levels but getting better. My 3 step approach will be something I work on this month.

Staying active this week, did some heavy bag work also. Thursday's work out got pushed late and I cut it short before I got in some compromised position. Feeling good back down to 165.2 this morning.

Stupid sore today after yesterdays w/o. I've also been doing physical labor the last few days so that is not helping.

No basketball this week, so I should heal up a bit faster. aside from the doms I feel like a champ.

watched a newer documentary on bodybuilding last night. somehow I feel like I missed my calling.

A bit more progress on the squat this weekend. Shooting for 4x245 and 2x7x225 by the end of February.

That will feel like breaking new ground and putting the 2013-2014 setback behind me.

I meant feeling it more in a sore muscle sense, But I know what your saying. Actually things are great today.

Skipped b-ball today, so I focus on making progress on the squat.

I've been running sprints pre-squat work outs since it has been nicer outside. (the last 4 workouts) I'm getting a bit faster, feels good to add it back to the pre-workout dynamic stuff.
Feeling energized, been making steady progress the last month w/o getting worn down. moving and playing better.

Getting locked in again. Added a few reps since last workout on the old squat.

Finally bought real gymnastic rings last month and am loving them. Getting strong on my muscle ups, I can't help myself from knocking one out and doing about 10 dips every time I walk by it. In a related story my left shoulder can feel it.

didn't get a chance to lift this weekend. Went out when it was late on sunday and warmed up, once I knew there was no chance I was going to make progress I called it a day. Things went a little better today. The MSEM squat is helping get reps in when It feels like I need to drop weight by 40#'s to lift.
