Got 8 reps at 240 tonight! 5 pound gain in 2 weeks I will take.

Progress has not come easily or quickly lately, and life sure don't make it easy.

Did some jumps on wednesday, despite sore legs I was jumping good. Nothing PR but better then expected.

Weights felt a bit lighter tonight.  :headbang:

Missed Sundays w/o. Tendon's were super sore from the warrior dash on Saturday. Still feeling it a-bit today actually.

I never run on anything but b-ball courts or tracks it seems, so uneven ground and roots tears me up.

Finally adding weight to my lifts again. It's a slow long road I guess.......

Progress tonight! I have been fighting for weeks it seems to hit 235x8. Tonight effortless, super explosive, fast bar speed.

played basketball on saturday, lungs are still there but legs got wore down. man you can lose cardio quick.

weights felt better today, but progress is in reverse as of late.

Next weekend is the warrior dash, so I will continue on cruise control a bit longer.

Yes it is. I can get 30" standing really easy now, but have yet to hit 31"s.

My focus has been driving up my RVJ. I want 35" running. but more work to be done first.

Super unproductive week for progress. Did ~40 jump yesterday, my ME jumps were no better than 32ish off concrete.

Weights were super heavy and awkward.  :(

My work life balance has been slanted lately and workouts have been spread out.
AM b-ball finished up on almost two weeks ago. But I played basketball on saturday, and curiously enough my RVJ
is definitely at PR level. I could jump 33-34" repeatedly even after many games. 35"s for me on a 10' goal is about the middle of my palm. I am not quite there yet but a least one of my jumps was damn close, Maybe 34.5ish.

Positive reinforcement that I am on the right track anyway.

I use the 2.5 weights too. Feels wayyyyy better. Eventually I'll get some lifting shoes but the weights work for me pretty well.

tried lifting with 2 1/2# plates under my heels, which feels much better.

I have been lifting in track flats, so maybe its time to invest in real lifting shoes?

6/14/13 Friday BW=156.8

AM b-ball 1.5 hours

Have not lifted again this week. no real fatigue or soreness. RVJ is still in the 33-33.5" range. no improvements.

Weight is at an all time low. Feeling lean as hell. Mostly muscle and bone at this point.

I ran 1.5 miles in a few ticks over 11 mins for my nephews training on thursday, which might not have been ideal.

If all goes ok on sunday I hope to get some more jumps in and re-evaluate.
