sprint warmup: 10's + coast out to 40m x 4, sprint warmup: 10's + coast out to 60m x 4, coast rest: 40m sprint + coast out to 100m: x 2

Could ya explain what these mean?

I run real hard in b-ball and stuff and to be honest i dont thinki need GPP, ive done spontaneous block of sprints before with no problem, ill keep the set/rep scheme like the old ME/DE.

The sprinting will be done on a GRASS track on soccerfield across the road, ill do them in track spikes (adidas something ive already got them from when my brother ran) I dont think ill have a problem with shin splints etc, goin from dunkin on crete to running on grass should be fine........While im at the feild i might just through in some basic ply/bounds but ill sort that out later...Thanks for the help Lord Darqman

hey darq, i want to switch up my template know, my body really responds swithing every ~4 weeks or so, but i also want to get fast.....

I was thinking something like

Dynamic warmup
Ankles stiffnes

~5 MAX V sprints 80m-100m (worked up to)

Bilateral strength exercise (back/box/front squat)
Unilateral strength exercise (ill set my ego aside and do Barbell walking lunges on a slight incline)

thats about it real simple, but i want focus on getting FAST and getting real STRONG......still to be done twice a week

watcha think? i know its real rough ATM

Darq whats your opinion on the reverse lunge? do you see it as performing walking lunges in the fact that in entails "postive/forward" hip extension like a walking lunge but unlike a normal lunge "On the spot". I a hoep i sensa makin  :D

Hey darq, im gonna start foamrolling my IT again (havnt in like 3 months), i found an old piece of pvc pipe with 3.5" diametre. would this suffice? im using now so........i cut it to about 23" long and just gonna keep foamrolling that left IT Band today.............

ya that would work very good.. gonna be painful ! :)

Wrap a towel around it and duct tape it in place.

TOO LATE! it worked great without it tho, just painful

Hey andrew whats your opinion on arms crossed front squats as opposed other (olympic?) style. I used to do front squats, and i only did them arms folded, cant really do them the other way.....(Large forearms in relation to humerous, to large)

p.s Q&A anyone?

Its like Quads used to be overated and now they are way underated (to MOST people, calm down darq calm down  :P)

same thing with calves, they used to be overated and are now underated....(to MOST people)

You could so easily make a great jump program Andrew, i thought of this after you said

Quote
regardless of what you actually have to work, there's one thing that can be certain you need to improve:
- maximal strength in a "squat movement" (full, half, whatever)
- explosive strength in a "squat movement" (jump squat, dj's, rea, etc)
- improve maximal & explosive calf strength (dj, reactive, calf raise)

AND WE'VE ALL HEARD SOME PEOPLE IN THE S&C INDUSTRY SAYING "QUADS ARE USELESS, AN ATHLETE WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITHOUT THEM" TO ME A SAYING COULD NOT BE ANY MORE STUPID

rondo is putting on a show, his speed is unstoppable right now.

yeah boy, Rondo's first step = ridiculous

no brainer boston is gonna win it all, derek fisher has become such a liability on the defensive end he can't keep up with speedy guards like rondo and ron artest is honestly the worst player in the league, i swear the only reason he gets minutes is bcs he used to be half decent and he has that bad boy attitude and supposed great defensive skills even though i've seen tons of ppl blow right by him

I agree cept Ron artest CAN play good off ball D, thats about it tho
