bw = 154
soreness = calfs
aches/injuries = mid back tight as hell, low back slightly, fingertip torn up heh
fatigue = moderate
diet = prot shake, egg sandwhich + green beans + broccoli, crackers & cheese dips, prot shake + 2 bananas, prot shake + 2 bananas + some pretzels

no training today, resting, hope to get some nice dunks tomorrow..

stretched my back out alot today, shit is really tight.. mid back mostly.. gotta get this under control soon, seems like it's going on too long fml.

i had the same problem a couple months ago, mid back was tight as well. what helped me most was soaking in a bath for like 15 minutes with the water as hot as i could tolerate. after soaking for 15 minutes your body should be pretty warm, which i found made it a lot easier to stretch out my back, spine. I did that stretch you were talking about, where u lay on your back and bring your legs over your head to the ground, and this other stretch where you make a bridge, im guessing youve seen it before. but that helped me out a lot.

aye aye aye...  i guess there are few of us in the back stiffness club.  hot bath definitely helps.  i need to hit up a hot spring (tons in Taiwan actually, and since it's like 8c out right now it'd feel extra good).  as i mentioned briefly before i super miss the bikram hot yoga (40c or 105f) 90 minute bullet sweating hot sessions.  if you guys have the time i highly recommend trying it out.  it's a superb cardio and flexibility work out.  so i went to see a famous weirdo TCM (traditional chinese medicine) doctor for my back stiffness.  he says it's an accumulation of cold/dampness and also from not warming up enough before i ball.  i hate to believe that i don't warm up enough because i usually try to but some days i do not like when i just arrive and game starts...  the TCM's view is always, pay now or pay later.  this starts as young as a 3 years old.  which is why truly flexible people starts way young.  there are few rare exceptions (some ppl are naturally more flexible, and remains so even with out ever stretching) but generally stays true.  meaning, even if you're 18 and you feel like you don't need to warm up, you will pay for in the future.

bw = 155
soreness = both calfs (significant)
aches/injuries = mid back, low back felt better
fatigue = high
sleep = 4 hours
diet = protein shake + 2 teaspoon coffee, dunks + protein shake, big dinner (beef barley soup, cheeseburger, fries, brownie icecream), protein shake

workout #1:
- jumps/dunks, got up nice on some dunks, felt great even though calfs were sore and eyes constantly burning from lack of sleep

all in all, happy with session..

didn't squat tonight because, saturday i cant dunk, need to stay home for grandpa, so, will do it sunday early, so i'll squat tomorrow with my high volume tuck jumps.. hopefully sunday i can get some insane shit in, maybe indoor.

peace!

dno what im going to do with the footage, might edit it a bit, no idea, havnt worked on it one bit yet hah.

ya the only problem is, i only feel comfortable jumping off 2 steps max.. if i go from 3-4 steps, i can travel too far laterally and almost land on the base, freaks me out, adam from TVS tore an ankle ligament like that.. it's not like it's only specific to our home made vertec though, i'd have bad jumps on a real vertec too.

so ya, dno.. :/

ya as i get older it's easier for me to put on weight.. when i was < 24 i couldn't put on weight for shit unless I REALLY tried (stuffing my face all day).
