You leave the door with intentions of fulfillin your visions
Constantly sidetracked, thinkin bout who's your man or who isn't
Maybe it's necessary - maybe you're overreactin

Keep my, mind on my money, and my head to the sky
I never really smile much, if you was here you'd know why
There's frustration and fire if you look in my eye
The media fuckin me up, right hookin my high

It's easier to keep up than it is to catch up...

i've been watching a lot of guitar-centered music and this dude keeps showing up in my feed. i'm mostly not that into him: he's a technical wizard but i find him kind of antiseptic and boring. but this video is bananas because of the arrangement and his ability to play it so perfectly. the original song has three guitar parts (acoustic, electric, and pedal steel) plus a bass and he somehow manages to convey all of them with just a single telecaster. [quake 3 announcer voice]: impressive.
