Brief story of this vid...

So... I was going to hold out until I was back in my "prime" which was when I was 24 - 25, but let's just say Andrew and good friends at ADARQ convinced me to leak a progress vid. lol...

I'm just a hair shy of 6'4 and this is rim is 10'... I measured it with my handy tape measure.

Next vids I'll post vids of me measuring the rim so that doesn't have to be an issue but it should be pretty clear it's 10'.

I think my head is 2-3 inches from the rim.. which makes this a 41-42" jump but of course some will have a different opinion.

I'm hoping to beat my old bests soon, and I'll get more vid as well.

Thanks for any support.

I'd love this video to be spammed with the 50 inch dot com spam that usually happens to jumping videos :D

You do realize that if you didnt arch your back so much and look up while you were in the air, you'd be less than an inch away from the rim?

Here's a dunk video from a bit back...

This is just a funny vid but kind of cool.

Might have been a bit closer... although I want to hit it on the rim... it gets a bit unnerving when you get close it it... you kind of "wince" a bit.

I need to do a lob dunk and get the same height... that rim will snap off if I hang so the dunks on it aren't as cool...  I don't like to dunk without a bit of rim bangin.  But if I break this one they will be ticked at me... this is the only place they really play from the area.

At that point (5 years ago) I wasn't aware of the vertical jump underground / online following etc on youtube, nor was I tech saavy AT ALL.

I'm going to get a tripod though and start doing more...

Judging by the positive response I should have been doing this a long time ago, even though  didn't have footage of my "best" stuff...
