you see that gamechangers movie yet?

Nah I never heard of it, just checked out the trailer. Seems interesting, I like meat but it definitely takes a toll trying to digest it so just feeling better for training could be worth it.

yea the movie looks decent. ima check it out eventually.

Yeah im really liking the hot temp while lifting, probably moreso than room temp now. Freezing commercial gyms are the worst!
The more i think about it, the more i realize my only real issue with the gym is a missing 25lb dumbell, 30lb, 40lb, and then sets of 35’s, 45’s, 50’s, 55’s

Looking to build my home gym soon anyway with a DIY platform. Any ideas on a decent power cage? My company has a 50% fitness subsidy that caps at $500/year. Rather use that for equipment every year instead of a gym membership!

ah that's cool, the 50% subsidy.

i got my powertec rack for ~550 way back. thing has been through several hurricanes and been outside for like 12 years. still in great conditions.

just need a heavy duty steel rack. don't need to go crazy though. i'd def get one w/ pullup/dip attachments.

ive seen some @ local sporting goods store, even cheaper now, and with more features. seem solid. if you have any places nearby, go check some out in person.

pc!

Cheruiyot dominates 1500m. Pure domination:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uga45jtFAbo

10,000m was epic. RHONEX vs Cheptegei. They kept taking the lead from each other, the whole race.

RHONEX just doesn't have the kick yet to beat those guys in the last lap. He has to push the pace more before the last lap.

Love how RHONEX, Cheptegei & Cheruiyot love to front run. Cheruiyot especially. He wins every 1500m completely from the front, that's insane.

my dude RHONEX. the future of long distance racing.

looks pretty nice! i'd rather go to a gym like that than some globo commercial gym.

the AC not working could be a good thing. Some boxing gym i used to go to way back actually turned the heat on some days etc, (even when it was hot as fu*k out), hardcore gym. training in there was epic.

soreness: quads
- from 13.x mi on roads
- next run session should be mostly on grass

an absolute shit-ton of hamstring/glute/ext rot/int rot "marches", while watching track & field/rogan podcast. def been getting stronger on these.

some brutal jacknobber into my right glute to finish off the night. about an hour's worth. serious release on a few occasions. needs to be permanent.

men's 1500m final & 10k final today.

can't wait.

Cheruiyot (1500m) and Cheptegei (10km)..

though, i'm pulling for RHONEX since he's in it.

Those Ethiopians are going to be tough to beat in the 10km final, but Cheptegei has done it before. Hope Cheptegei, RHONEX, or Bergea gets it. Berega/RHONEX being the youngins.

In fact, the only people under 27 min (PB) are all of the ETH's, Cheptegei (UGA), and RHONEX (KEN).

going to be epic.

as for 1500m, would love to see Cheruiyot & Jakob go under 3:30, with Cheruiyot winning.

Cheruiyot is the man to beat tho.. he's so consistent now.

hope Engels does well also.

Desisa is a true warrior.

He never gets an easy win. When he wins it at the end (last 1-2 km), he floors it with pure pain on his face etc.

Hawkins with an impressive "come back". Somehow got back in the lead at 40km, was nuts. But the faster dudes eventually smoked him.
