jeezus at that depth, i could hit 205x5 too.

try squatting in waffle racers, tell me what happens to your depth.

How do waffle racers mess with your depth?

they force you into more dorsiflexion, picture an oly squat shoe, then picture the opposite of that (elevated forefoot instead of heel).

I see.

Your knees are far enough forward that you could squat deeper with no problem though.

I think he might just be doing that thing that Chinese oly lifters do when they're repping out squats, you know, where they nod their head a little bit. The first guy in the video from a few posts ago does it at the bottom of his reps and Frank Yang does it, too, haha.

Dude, it is a communist ploy to fuck up the evil west's necks...DUH.

head straight, but back into bar... meaning like how a chicken cocks its head back?

why's that so eh?

I mean that you should tense the muscles in your neck, while keeping your neck in line with your spine, which means facing a bit down.

It helps to maintain tightness throughout the entirety of your back.

Do not look up when you squat. Keep your head facing directly forwards or a little bit down. You should, however, be driving you head back into the bar.

At least he isn't doing this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tf8bCrP0VJU

That looks friggin' hard.

It's interesting that you haven't included the 1-leg RDL as a strength exercise. I feel like my glutes work very well using it, and it's one of my favorite exercises.

ya it could be added, as could anything people find effective, but i'm not big on it though.

peace!

I used single leg RDLs ISOs in the bottom position. They definitely helped my glutes and balance.

I hate raves - in fact I hate most parties - but the light shows are pretty cool

Tam, did you watch "Mock The Week" when Frankie Boyle was one it? That show was amazing.

Yeah man. Imo it went down hill when frankie left though, watched one episode of the first season he had left and haven't watched it since then. Is it still good?

I do not know, I stopped watching for the same reason.
