IC, didnt kelly say somewhere, i forget where, that almost every great/above average speed/strength athlete he trained could easily put his heel to butt?

anyways, one of my favorite stretches, feel so much better after doing it.

YEP

Just curious if everyone could post

A) low bar or high bar squat and how strict of a technique

B) Squat before and VJ(OR RVJ) before  IE  8 months ago squatted 315lbs while jumped 28 inches

C) Squat after and VJ(OR RVJ) after   IE currently squat 375lbs and jumps 34 inches

D) Why you choose to do low bar or high bar(or dont do either)

LBSS, you hear about this book through defranco? He often remarks how all the stretching techniques he learned were from the Fredricks.

Adarq, have you ever tried the rectoris femoris/psoas stretch kelly baggett recommends?

thats why in the military, for any evolution or mission, there is always a "brief" and "debrief"

evaluation and adaptation is key. Pisses me off about sport coaches too, at the HS level atleast. Many of them do the same shit year after year season after season. Dont evolve the offense, dont adapt to personnel, dont even try to become better coaches. Frustrating.

kinda related  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsKcHLfvDKU&feature=related

good point...lets speed up the evolution by deleting users survivor style who are only bringing the forum down  :strong:

Random question that doesnt belong in ur log, when you do depth drops, where should your head be looking??  (straight, down?)

so kelly your view is kind of "if you know how to and want to use olympic lifts they are a great tool, if not you can still achieve optimal results using other means"  ?

same as how mine has always been..I cant even fully master less complicated lift techniques on squat and bench..

adarq, are u ever gonna start doing more traditional strength work again?  IE barbell squats, BSS/lunges, GHR, Reverse hypers etc etc?  Could definitely put you "over the top" in terms of VJ perhaps..

also quick question, for todays workout,

For ( REACTIVE: DEPTH DROP: ~24" to start, 3 x 5 ) you just mean going off 24 inches and sticking the landing right??  whys it reactive??

So sometihng like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoktVIyYCAM

or do you mean a regular depth jump??
