There's really no other way to get into basketball shape other than to play basketball.  I get in and out of shape quite a bit, but play ball consistently and I never get tired when I play.  I'm just efficient in my movement, because playing ball is second nature to me.  Running or doing some other kind of exercise is a different story though when I get out of shape.  Just shooting around on your own will get your body used to basketball movements and make you more efficient and waste less energy when you play, so you don't get tired.

The way people like Adam do things, even if his programs worked, I wouldn't want to give him a penny for it.  I have e-mails from 4 or 5 different "trainers" that are all pimping this "Effective Ball Handling Program" and offering a bonus free if you buy from their affiliate link of course.  Also, what is the point or need for a version 2.0?  There's only so many ball handling drills out there.  Most are just variations of each other and basically accomplish the same thing.  The guy's just doing a cash grab with that.  The only people they ever get to buy their products are the ones looking for a quick fix.  I guess that's why they market the way they do, since it will work on those who don't know any better.

i wasted my bucks and actually i was stupid enough to let my mom buy his Scoring Secrets shit for my bday :-[ but i got it for only 47  :P but still, i can buy a ps3 game for that. but yeah, all i can say is, you can be a great scorer without Taylor Allan. His fake program is very limited that you actually realize you bought yourself something from a depressed bssketball player whofailed to fulfill his dreams. im not sayin hes not good, he actually is but nowhere near d1 ncaa players.

Could you give a brief breakdown of what's included?  How is it set up?  Do you download the videos or have a members area where you stream stuff?  I've always wondered what these programs look like that he's selling, but of course there's no chance I'm paying a penny for it.

He seems to be able to play a bit.  Can shoot the ball pretty well and seems fairly athletic as well.  When I saw some of his videos of him playing 1 on 1 though, it seemed like it was staged making every hesitation or fake of his work on his defender.  Still, a placebo effect is a strong thing.  If you believe in his program and you're actually improving, then it's still working for you.  It's just that you could probably design your own program all the same and get the same or better results.

I'm still on his E-Mail subscription list, because I like to see what kind of crap he comes out with.  Now, he's offering a live Q & A with Alan Stein in exchange for a testimonial of how his stuff has helped.  I don't understand how he gets people that actually know what they're doing to help him out.  Using testimonials to advertise his own stuff  in exchange for access to a Q & A is pathetic though.
I hate hearing Alan Stein's name, he's on a handful of forums for trainers/coaches and he spams the hell out of all of them, and if you look on some pages on Facebook (like the NSCA page) (Smarter Team Training is his company) he posts his vids there, all he tries to do is get hits to them it seems.  I watched 1 of his youtubes talkin about eccentric strength training where he had a girl on a leg (hamstring) curl, where she was going up with 2 down with 1, and I was just done with him.  That methodology has been around for years, its nothing new, and he shouldn't be posting that as his advertisement.  He's really annoying to watch and listen to tho.

Not saying he is a great trainer or anything, but he does train NBA players, so he does have credibility there.  Those guys he trains would probably get great results regardless of who trained them, but he still does have experience dealing with high level athletes.  That's more than what can be said for a lot of wannabe trainers out there.

This guy's stuff is just plain garbage.  I don't need to purchase the actual product to make that declaration either.  He says he played college basketball in Canada and he won't even put out the school he played at.  I could make claims I play in the NBA and nobody could prove otherwise if you can't look up my credentials.  Another thing is this guy is so lazy he uses NBA tape to analyze a move a player makes.  Just hearing his analysis makes me cringe as he states the most obvious things.  I remember at one point that this guy was offering email coaching at 10 dollars on his site.  It's really a shame that this guy has attached himself to some people that actually do know what they're doing.

I mean really though, if you're buying a product from a guy like this who won't even give you his own credentials or show his face, you pretty much deserve to be ripped off.  If you're hearing stories from people going from averaging 6 PPG to 27 PPG in a matter of 2 weeks using his program, please use your damn brain.  Anybody with that kind of knowledge to do something even remotely close to that would be selling their services much higher and they would be worth every penny.

I only know of Taylor Allan through his Prolific Shooting Program, so I'm not sure about the whole Athletic Domination Expo saga.  I can say that he does appear to have good solid Basketball skills and does appear to practice what he preach.  He can shoot the Basketball and he has turned himself into a pretty good athlete as well.  It's just his marketing that I can't get past.  I've seen him have like 20 other websites with the same kind of theme and a similar product branded under a different name.  I can't speak for his products, because I don't know what they're like, but he does appear to be upfront and honest about his own credentials.  The marketing of his stuff is just over the top and comes off as a cash grab.  The free info he has given out has been pretty good for the most part though.  I think his reputation is very much up in the air and it's hard for me to lean one way or another without having viewed one of his products.
