Feb
RVJ=31" :headbang:
SVJ=27" :pissed:
Lose 2 lbs :headbang:
Power Block through this month :headbang:
Hang on rim with 2 hands :headbang:
Get 10 consecutive spotted Muscle ups :headbang:
Squat= 1 x 315# :headbang:
Bench= 1 x 235# :headbang:
Run a 10:00 1.5 mi :pissed:

So, I'm stuck at 25" on my SVJ.  I think the increased jumping will help for next month.  And I missed my run time by 21 seconds, and I only ran 3 times in Feb.  So, I'm planning on DESTROYING those next month.

Mar

Baby is BORN!!!

Decided to cut back some of my goals a little.  Makes them more attainable but is still on path for end of year.

So I can now say I know a Norwegian National Weightlifting Champion!   (With the word "know" loosely defined!)
Nice work.

I personally stretch and do you Yoga regularly, but it's mainly for recovery and injury prevention.  I definitely notice that I can workout harder when stretch, because I am not sore the next day.  As far as it directly improving your vj, I'd be surprised but couldn't hurt.  Good luck.

Football / Re: Field Goal Kicking

I have a friend that was the kicker/punter for BYU, and he was the same way.  6'5", 220 lbs, and could just kill the ball.  Being able to just do it is a big part.  I have a couple of friends that play semi pro football in Alabama (they don't get paid shit though) and their kickers are horrible!  Arena is probably the way to get your name out there, but they have a box, not just uprights.

From what my buddy told me, the NFL kickers are there because they've proven themselves under pressure situations (games on the line).  Tons of guys can hit 50+ when it doesn't matter, but not many can hit 45 yards from the right hash mark with 1 sec left and down by 2.  Give it a shot though.  You never know!  I'd be happy to claim that I helped you get into the NFL!!!

So you think she's a child? She seems "mature enough" to me. I don't think chronological age is THAT important. It's what's behind the carcass that's important. Whatever, getting into philosophy again.

All depends.

Whats the cause of you not making the goal?
Sure you can make it next month if you go all out?

Laziness!  Just didn't get many runs in and didn't focus at all on my Muscle Ups.

OK, so here's my question:  If I don't hit one of my monthly goals, do I shift it to the next month and everything else back another month?  Like, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to run my 10:00 min 1.5 mile, or do my 10 consecutive spotted Muscle Ups.  So should I push them back or what??
