dennis rodman was the most valuable player of all time.
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

- Avishek

sunday: long very easy run 80+ mins @ 5:40+ (14+ km)
monday: strength/cross training
tuesday: extensive tempo (7 km) OR fartlek (mostly easy pace with mix of strides, hills, long tempo) 45 mins (8+ km)
wednesday: easy run 60+ mins @ 5:20-5:30 (11+ km)
thursday: easy run 60+ mins @ 5:20-5:30 (11+ km), strength/cross-training
friday: rest
saturday: short tempo 6-8x500 @ sub-4:00 (7 km)

strength would be:
- hops 2x10
- box jumps or ME SVJ 2x5
- squats 3x6-8 or weighted BSS/lunges 3x10/leg
- RDL/hypers 2x10-12 or SLRDL 2x10-12/leg
- upper push myo-reps or sets to technical failure
- upper pull myo-reps or sets to technical failure
- leg raises, holds, pallof presses

^I mostly agree to that. Totals are incomplete information, they don't include percentages, TO ratios, gametime, ball touches, clutch etc. Also yes, if you give a player ( not everyone, but there are a lot more than just a few ) the total freedom, he will sum great numbers. But! This is the NBA finals statistics. No random teams get there. And no random player gets the ball so many times. No random players are on the opposite team to guard him. It is not a random coincidence that the previous record holder of most triple doubles was Magic. And the previous record holder for triple double average was... noone.
Yes, Lebron was overly 'marketed' too early and to a very annoying extent. But that does not subtract anything from his actual greatness. For me, at his 32, he is already a strong candidate for GOAT, and this is coming from a hardcore MJ lover that had the joy of being an adult bball fan during MJs prime, i didn't just saw and read it later, i was in my early 20s following it while it was happening.

I have to rephrase your last sentence.

I mean part of why Lebron is so good is that he was designated as the "chosen one" "king" since high school

I mean why Lebron was designated as the "chosen one" "king" since high school is that he is so good

Yeah sure he was very good, but that designation by the public helped him to become even better and gave him much more opportunities.

Yeah Dennis was a huge part of the Bulls' championships.... he did all the dirty work that was just as important as scoring..... so MJ can get all the glory on offense

I guess my point is that the media and public just doesn't see how important some things are..... for example what stat is there for "altering an opponent's shot but not a block"  or "disrupting the other teams offensive flow"  "making opponent head coach change game plan"  "making the other player timid" etc etc.....

As much as I remember Jordan being great, best player in the clutch i've ever seen, I also remember him getting EVERY call. You couldn't blow on him or they'd call a foul. If anyone thinks Kobe got the most calls, i'm pretty sure they didn't watch Jordan in his prime.

On the flipside.. Lebron gets the least amount of calls i've seen for an elite player.

That's one thing people never factor into the Jordan / Lebron equation. I'd love to see the free throw statistics for both of them, especially in the playoffs/finals.

Yeah man, kobe didn't get that many calls imo. In fact kobe didn't get any calls, he was pretty much called just as evenly as everyone else, i'm sure of that.....

imagine if MJ was here... there woulda been 3 whistles blowing before he even got into the lane lolol.....

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zurH6_hkXBw" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zurH6_hkXBw</a>

lol westbrook hacked him as he went up.... the body contact coulda also been a foul even tho he jumped straight up but he was in restricted area right under the rim.....

Dude if mj was called the way kobe was.... MJ woulda prob end up beating an official to death lol..... but no he was the nba's ultimate sweetheart.... was nba's global moneymaker!

Edit- if u look at kobes expression on the floor, it's like he's used to not getting calls "dam man evn this hack i don't get the call?"
