Heart's out to the guy. I could barely look at the still, let alone the video. ESPN.com says his season is "in doubt"...uh, no shit, Sherlock. His career is in doubt after an injury like that.

Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

not that i know of but it's at least a fracture of the tibia and fibula. i mean, they broke clean in half, don't need to be an orthopedic surgeon to see that...

 :(

It was a compound displaced fracture of both the tibia and fibula. The tibia was also fractured up near the knee as well. There was no damage to any nerves or blood supply. I think he'll be back next year at 100%. Bone injuries look worse than say an ACL, but they will heal back fine, unlike ligaments and tendons. You have cells in your body that rebuild bone, there are none such cells for ligaments or tendons. Kevin Ware is back to 100% in a year, I think PG will be too.

Thanks Matt, that's what I was really asking. Bones heal, other stuff not so much. Sucks, I was betting on him having a killer year.

Cannot unsee, shocking. Makes me feel scared to go and play bball.
Agree with all about bones vs tendons/ligaments.
Hope he heals up fine.
