damn.

fury punctured wilder's ear drum in the first knockdown (blood coming out of his ear), and potentially broke wilder's jaw before that, from the looks of the blood in his mouth.

not sure how wilder hung in there that long, looking so wrecked. he couldn't do anything though, seemed so weakened/unstable from that first knock down.

sux. bummed.

That's a good observation about getting hit in the ear.  Ears have a strong link with your body's sense of balance.

Great fight. man tyson gave wilder a beating he said he would and that ear drum basically just made him wobbly the entire fight.

   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up

Also ben davison says that tyson played a mind trick where probably consumed a large amounts of water to appear heavy on the scale at the weigh in then his normal weight before draining it all out during constant bathroom breaks and being ready for the fight.

Jessie vargas vs mikey garcia

Jessie vargas - (unsure of spelling) - always brings it, his fast combos and he throws a lot of shots and is very hard stylistically to fight. Mikey garcia managed to pull it off somehow. It was close. Vargas is very good but I don't know what he is doing wrong except for maybe defence needs a little work.
