damn i just noticed one of my runner friends shit themself during a race.. and still finished top3.

old photo...

wow.

LMAO.

damn.

Isn't this just a rite of passage for runners  :D

is it? never happened to me. i'd sh*t on the side of the road I think. :/

running with poop dripping down my leg etc, sounds like a nightmare. I'd rather just pull over, do like Zane Robertson in the Vice video, shoot it out, then get back to running. I guess their could be some slight residual poop tho.

local runner, long history on athlinks, mostly long distance. some really nice marathon times.

he's really beast. he's like 51 now, had brain tumor/surgery last year, and is still dropping 19:XX 5k's mostly, with an occasional sub19. every time I see him on the out&back courses, man he's pushing himself so hard. he's tough as nails it seems.

redbull 400 (uphill), looks hard. lol.

https://www.redbull.com/us-en/events/red-bull-400-international

that looks absolutely horrible. looked at a couple race results and it seems to take at least 3 minutes for the male winners to finish. i wonder how elite athletes would do. bet 800m runners would dominate.

yea it would be interesting to see what elites would do. As long as the course doesn't "require" a crawl, ie it's always runnable, i'd be interested. If it forces you to crawl etc, i'd lose interest. I see some people crawling when others are running, so it just seems that they get wrecked..

i'd predict 1500m guys would probably dominate more than 800m, but who knows. Would be fun to see them lure elite track guys into it. I mean they got a sprinter to race an ostrich, and Floyd/Conor happened, should be possible. lool.

looks horrible but kinda fun.
