Now he's like "no more squatting since you got injured" (me) - FUCK.

Comments: I'm considering quitting my vert journey. I just am not motivated anymore. So much money invested, so much time, so much consistent training only to see injuries, total lack of performance (I train for years to jump ~30 inches? wtf, I mean really). I have nothing to train for anymore... I just suck and that's it. There's no way of improving that. Tried to jump off two feet yesterday and today as well, I just suck hard. My body position sucks, I go forward, I can't maintain a straight back when planting, I look in the ground and so on and so forth and I can't correct all this shit. I've tried. My legs collapse when I plant due to bad body positioning... it really is effort in vain and if it's anything I HATE in this world, is wasted effort. I don't think I hate anything else as bad, not even doctors.
So yeah, I'm considering quitting all this, it makes no sense to continue. Years of training and wasted money for nothing.
BY THE WAY - I hope you people fail as well. I honestly do. I don't want you to achieve what I've been training for for years. I want you to suck as hard as possible. That will make my fail less bitter.
Raptor. It was already pointed out about your reading comprehension skills. I am a newbie here so I wont criticize or be mean but after your comment I did a little reading about you to see if there was any validity to your comment. Needless to say, what I found was not surprising. I just wanted to say thanks for the motivation. I now do have some direct goals. Not only can I move heavier weight than you in all areas already, I now will exceed any vert you have ever achieved. Your comment about wanting everyone on here to fail really rubs me wrong. Be ready for some video of me completely dominating you in your vert goals that you have been training for. Good luck in your next passion.
Man... does he coil or what?!
By the way - I timed those jumps in the past - the first jump ended up as 53 inches and second as 51.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijOSJ1KqYqA
he doesn't jump like t-dub!!!!
Totally horrible comparison.
+1.
The Catapult Mechanism: Elastic Recoil of Fascial Tissues.QuoteKangaroos can hop much farther and faster than can be explained by the force of the contraction of their leg muscles. Under closer scrutiny, scientists discovered that a spring -like action is behind the unique ability: the so-called catapult mechanism (Kram & Dawson 1998). Here the tendons and the fascia of the legs are tensioned like elastic bands. The release of this stored energy is what makes the amazing hops possible. Hardy surprising, scientist thereafter found the same mechanism is also used by gazelles. These animals are also capable of per-forming impressive leaping as well as running, though their musculature is not especially powerful. On the contrary, gazelles are generally considered to be rather delicate, making the springy ease of their incredible jumps all the more interesting.
Fascia expresses a significant increased elastic storage capacity (how much is still not truly known).
How is it developed?.
One way is preparatory counter-movement. "Multidirectional movements, with slight changes in angle are utilized; this might include sideways or diagonal movement variations as well as spiralling rotations. With this method, large areas of the fascial network are simultaneously involved".
Now I can truly see why T-DUBS movement is a perfect dunkin' exercise. It's full body.
(added to OP).
"There has to be a coiling/twisting/spiralling element of the myosin filaments to generate great elastic energy."
The coiling/twisting/spiralling is created between joints. There might be twisting at the ankle, the knee, the hips..... But there is simply no evidence that you can cause your myosin filaments to twist. In fact the conformational change between myosin and actin filaments is regulated by chemistry and cannot be changed by coiling between your joints. It may be possible that this coiling takeoff results in a much stronger contraction, but the effect would be neural not a physical change in myosin filaments.
relax with dumb posts like this. im literally ready to ban you over this dumb post..
area51 can't replicate t-dub's athleticism? either can golden child, young hollywood, air up there, etc?
plus you're actually making this forum more retarded, i feel sorry for the young kids who read your posts.. i need to figure out a way to flag all of your posts as "moronic".. going to try and find a mod to do that later today.
pc
amen!!!
