can't wait for GGG/Jacobs, that should be a great fight.. we'll probably see GGG hit a new level. He didn't look too worried in his last fight.. but Jacobs is legit, so no playing around in this fight.

i think GGG will figure out a way to KO him.. hard to bet against a GGG KO at this point.

that lemieux KO of stevens was brutal..  i was (am) worried for Stevens.

dead hang chinups: BW x 9

nice.

Session: Evening

7:30 PM

reading + walk/run/jump:
- read lots
- runs were solid/relaxed, but still fast/powerful
- a few jumps were good, but i'm holding back alot because of my left heel .. that one max jump I did maybe ~1.5 weeks ago, bruised something in there.. i was avoiding max jumps for that reason, but got too amp'd up.. so maybe a few ~10'4"s today
- finished with some faster intervals

decent.

also making some progress with this other project i'm working on, which uses neo4j (graph database)... i'm using cypher-shell so i can stay in console, hate gui's.. but, this browser graph visualization stuff is kinda fun. pictured above is a user who created 1000's of (mock) resources.. eventually there will be tons of crazy relationships.

fun stuff.

oh this deserves it's own post.. my eyes have been dry lately, and there's a few theories i have as to why.. one of them is i'm wearing my glasses more - ie now when i walk/run/jump, because i'm reading in between.

so during my walk/run/jump + reading tonight, I didn't wear my glasses.

this might be the first time (at least that I can remember), reading without contacts or glasses, ever. I actually read everything fine .. the text is sharp & I invert colors/use grayscale so it's all black/white + sharp. If I squint SLIGHTLY my vision improves alot .. something to do with astigmatism.

reading PR. :personal-record:

edit: that's so weird when I think about it.

my eyes felt alot better during/after that session. I wonder if my eyes will actually strengthen or weaken, or no change, by doing this. I'm going to do this from now on - unless i experience something that scares me away from doing it.

man.. i missed out on a golden opportunity tonight.

so i'm at the basketball court, it's really hype. A few nasty athletes there.. so I get my camera ready, record a few clips of the game. I just felt like someone was going to get dunked on. So I record some layup, play stops, i turn around and ponder going back to reading my article .. then I turn back around, and a fast break leads to two leapers going head2head, and this dude gets dunked on absolutely disgusting.

I had just been recording ~3-5 seconds prior. And I was watching this unfold, unable to set my camera to record. FML.

dude cocked it back slingshot style and banged it on him .. both were up there.

NASTY. DISAPPOINTED. could have had it on vid, FEH!#!@$!@

Yoo did you ever see Bleed for this?  The boxing movie about Vinny Pazienza making a comeback after his accident?  If so was it good?  Its available to rent on amazon so i might check ot out.

nah never did. i heard it's good though. I hardly watch any movies, it seems like time always slips by or i'm doing something else instead.

lmk if it's good.

Been weeks since i've wanted to watch 13th on netflix.. dammit.

Will do, someone from India or something tried to steal my card info so gotta wait awhile to get a new one...haters

they tried to make charges to it at best buy in India? lul.

there's always that weird side to it too, the "big data crunching" that some people use or "dark methods":

- What if a star player performs worse with a certain high relative humidity?
- You have inside info that he just found out his GF is cheating on him?
- You know someone who has hacked RWB's private facebook/email and he tips you off to some potential red flags, or you correlate his statlines to how often (and when) he posts on FB
- Data showing GSW performs like crap the first game of the season if it's a Monday, 90% of the time

i'm just throwing out some nonsense .. but stuff like that can allow you to need less luck.. at that point though, you're a professional big data gambler - and you're probably rich as FU*K, lol.

lol I wish I had the tools to create an algorithim.... maybe we should work together to build one that is better than haralabos voulgaris... the dude's not even a bball player and he built and a complicated algorithm that is world class today in BBALL.....

hah cool, never heard of him. going to check out a few stories:

nice thanks!
