Already logging my workouts on an app, so figured I'd track them here as well.

Me:  43 years old, 5'9.  Training on and off for 25+ years.  History of ankle sprains.  Recently starting doing ATG program.

Goals:  stay healthy, jump high, run fast.

I believe ChrisM and Coges are on same program, so I figured it would be a good place to track my progress and to get input from the board. 

Any questions or comments.....please feel free to jump in.

Reading some of the old performance blog threads by adarqui and very interested in the mean method...hi rep 1/2 or 1/4 squats done very frequently.  Was wondering what your opinion is of doing same method but done single leg, in a smith machine, to minimize strain on back from high loads.

I frequent a lot of boards, but finally joined this one to keep a log. 

Basic stats:
Age: 35
Height: 5'9"
Weight: ~175

Not training for any specific sports, just want to bigger, leaner, stronger, faster,more powerful and improve my vertical jump. (doesn't everyone).  My training philosophy changes, but right now I'm experimenting with high-frequency training and intermittent fasting.  Been at it for about two weeks now so figured good enough time to start a log.  Goal is to workout out everyday, with a minimum of 5 days/week.

My basic template is:

Warm-up:  5x100 jump rope superset with 5x8 scapular push ups
Mobility drills: mostly for ankles, knees, hips and shoulders
Squat or front squat: work up to daily max, then back off set of 70% x 3
Bench press or push press: work up to daily max, then back off set of 80%x3
Accessory work:  shrugs, curls, rows, pullups, etc.

I do some jumping drills in between exercises, and finish workout with 4-5 max effort jumps at basketball rim, then conditioning if time allows (jogging, sprints, etc.)

Diet:
Follow pretty much an IF type diet, break fast in afternoon around 3:00, have protein shakes and almonds while at work, hit the workout when I get home then feast from around 8-10, then bed.

Supps:
Animal pak multi vitamin
Fish oil
Biotest alpha male and rez-v (I know people aren't big fans of biotest, but I can feel the difference when I'm on it, must be due to my age)
