Camera angle is stupid indeed but those are damn high. Also, the first pic could be the same high, seeing the back of your hand is causing a deception, ive had that happen numerous times: check where that wrist bone is at the back of your hand, mark it, then turn your hand around, boom, it is 1-2'' below base of palm.
Anyway those both look like 2'' below base of palm, so 10'9'' - 10'10'' depending on hand size. ChrisM is right, gotta start trying to dunk, you are high enough now.
Target training paces (min/km), calculated from 5K PR 22:49 :
Easy run : 5:48
Tempo run : 4:50
VO2-max run :4:21
Speed form run : 4:02

---

it's the biggest trick in the run game.. go slow to go fast. it doesn't make sense until it smacks you in the face and you're like ....... wtf?

Looking really good... it's definitely in the ~36-40 range.

Oh yea, just look at the first pic for reference. Your feet are almost waist level compared to the takeoff frame directly before it, factoring in the toe off you're still mid-upper thigh. Id say definitely high 30s maybe touching 40"!

BTW, loving the first pic, I need to learn to take/make some pics like that. That 'time lapse' style is very beneficial for pinpointing run up tips and getting an accurate vert reference imo.

palm to the rim.. not bad  :headbang:

drop another 6-8 lbs to peak the jump while being as strong/explosive and ud get another +1-2".. do that for up to two weeks.. any longer and the weight loss will get you weaker.

do your jumps in wood floors if you can before your knees eventually tell you to that its enough.

5'10" | 210lbs | 39 yrs
reach - 7'8" (92") |paused full squat - 545x1| standing VJ - 40"|

absolute unit

Daily Squats Day 1 - Aug 30, 2011 and still going.
