Why will reaching 145 lbs allow you to eat massive amounts without gaining weight?

i just put on fat too easy at my current body fat %, if i was ridiculously low, it's actually alot harder for me to put on fat.

once im 145 or so i'd be able to eat massive amounts of food without gaining any weight, that's how it was growing up (16-24) or so, before i went through crazy bulk (lower activity, insane amounts of peanutbutter/bread/milk etc).

filmed another park today :D

9/22/2010

bw = 154
soreness = hamstrings (alot still)
aches/injuries = parts of feet

workout #1: video taping a park (lol) & dribble up dunks
- video taping took 45 mins walking around etc
- dribble up dunks x ~20 or so, missed all of them but had some hard throw downs, nothing went in.. i got ~128-129" off 2 steps today on the jumps before, which was good considering the soreness.

workout #2:
- MR tuck jumps: 5 x 10
- MR bounds: 5 x 10 (furthest was 75 feet (my feet) total)
- MR pogo's: 10 x 5 (felt good, glutes started kicking in hard)
- paused pin squat singles: pin 11: 285 @ 12 singles, 225 @ 1 x 5
- 10sec paused pin squat: 225 @ 1 x 6
- barbell calf raise: 155 @ 16,15   135 @ 1 x 20,   95 @ 1 x 35
- pullup hang to stretch lats/back/decompress

workout #3: watching tv/forum'n
- glute bridges: alot

this happened on like ALL of my dribble ups, so odd, i rise off one foot first..

peace

legit one-armed pushups? damn, kid, that's pretty sweet, esp at your size.

Ha, yeah. Legit. When I was recovering from my injury I started reading The Naked Warrior by Pavel. I read about the philosophy behind just one limbed exercises  for strength gain and it made sense. At first my left arm could barely manage 2.... while holding a chair. I built up to full one-armed and flat on the ground as I recovered and got stronger. Now I do them all the time just to show off or for maintenance.

I wish you could have seen the difference in size between my left and right when I started. After atrophy my left arm was probably about 2 inches smaller than my right. I wish I had taken some pictures....

hard work status ^^^

that's like when i broke my right arm for the second time, i learned to shoot jumpers lefty.. take a bad situation and make it positive :d

nice

week 46
strength phase: lower

warmup, prehab

MR tuck jumps: 4 x 10

REA squats: 4 x 3 (70kg)
squats: 5 x (90, 100, 110, 120, 125, 115, 100)

pullups: 1 x 20

very short workout, 1 of the shortest i had so far. rain made sprinting impossible, courts were fully booked, and i had to rush off for work. not a good combi.

damn that sucks... good job on squat/pullups though.

how is anyone meant to be a certain weight??

bone structure, genetics, etc.. i could eat the same as someone else my height, but they have more favorable genetics for putting on mass etc, and i'd be 147 they'd look like a 185-205 beast etc.. i'd imagine my issue is 'myostatin' related, like if i really had someone dissect my dna.. right now i'm eating light/clean, which is still alot, but once im 145 or so i'd be able to eat massive amounts of food without gaining any weight, that's how it was growing up (16-24) or so, before i went through crazy bulk (lower activity, insane amounts of peanutbutter/bread/milk etc).

145 lbs???!!!

andrew man...

you want to be kadour ziani?!!

i think thats his weight class...

ya kinda... haha.. kadour/combest, extremely light, extremely strong/powerful, jump very high :d

i'm getting as light as possible because i'm MEANT to be such a low weight... everything i do to go above 145-150 is a "challenge", it's out of the norm.. but i kept at it for 2 years so i went high above my normal weight, i reached 180 last year during high rep squatting etc.. then went back down to 165-170 so fast..

so ya, im just becoming my 'natural weight'

:)

peace man
