Half (Quarter?) Squat:
10, 8, 8 @ 90kg
Felt good, I'm probably cheating by calling it a half squat, meh. At least im not into the "taking multiple breaths between reps" territory. My back all over has been feeling the punch lately so I think I might make the switch over to 5/3/1 shortly and give my back a rest from the extra weight. I think it will do me some good.

Ham Curls:
3 x 10 on pin 15. Managing to increase this each workout which is good.

Calf Raises:
Not enough time, gym closing.

All felt pretty good today. Looking forward to getting back to some parallel squats again.  :strong:

Far out, getting slack posting up workouts! Still trucking along with the half squats/ham curls/calf raises and will keep going for a bit longer. Thinking of doing 5/3/1 when I stall a bit.

Did a good amount of jumps today, realised I need to get more jump volume in because when I jump its only a couple then I'm done.

Missed posting a wokout, oops. Heres the latest one:

Half Squat:
3x10 @ 80kg
I did 90kg a few weeks ago but my sets have been taking ages and my back has been playing up a little lately. I will start bumping the weights up once I can get the required sets/reps without massive breathers in the middle of each set, I think it's probably a little counterproductive otherwise. Managed this solidly, one breath between a few reps max. Will go for 85kg next time. Need to get a little workout log book so I don't forget for next time.

Ham Curls:
3 sets. These are doing me good I think, slowly bumping the weight up.

Calf Raises:
3 sets

The new floor at the gym is good, massive rubber smell though! I had the first basketball game of the "season" the other day. We play about 11 games each "season" which runs in line with the school terms i.e if kids school is on, so is basketball. Just one game a week with no team practises, just a bit of fun. Anyway I did a few jumps after the game and my first one was pretty intense! It was on "the low rim" but I almost got my wrist over (which I know is dunking territory) so that was exciting. If I had of thrown the perfect lob it would have been a throwdown I think! Ill make sure to do some jumps after each game since thats when I jump my highest.

Parallel Squat:
1x20 @ 60kg
Goood. Really tough and hurt which is to be expected. Was definitely a long set. It was pretty cold so I didn't get a great warmup in which wa stupid.

Ham Curls:
3 sets

Calf Raises:
3 sets

The gym is getting a new floor and will be closed until Monday  :o Apparently there will be "free weights available on one squash court" so I am hoping that includes a squat rack. I asked a lady who works there that they need a squat rack there and she said if it can fit she will see what they can do. I'm not holding my breath. Could be a good chance to get some good jumping in and get nice and fresh.

Jumps:
Crap.

Parallel Squat:
3x5 @ 80kg
1x15 @ 60kg
Tough but good. I was going to go for 20 reps but was feeling super dizzy and light headed at 15. I think my legs had it but I didn't want to faint or something! I wonder if there is any disadvantage to alternating a bit between half squats and parallel, low rep and high rep etc? I figure If I get a bit stagnant in one or I am really feeling some high rep stuff then just go for it? This was really good.

Calf Raises:
3 sets at 100kg.

Hamstring Curls:
3 sets

I realised that I have really only been doing squats. Even just after them I am usually toast so I thought I would add in some ham curls which are a bit easier on the body (and mind) after squats. Felt really good but not that strong in them. Will see how I get on with these for a while.

Can't believe you're leaking this stuff bro! This is serious level 7 shit!  :o

Jumps:
None today.

Half Squat:
6, 6, 6 @ 90kg
Again, making sure I was going "deep" enough. Should be good for 95kg next time I go low reps.

Calf Raises:
3 sets at 100kg.

Nothing really to report today.

Jumps:
Dis some jumps at "the low rim" which were ok. Managing to get all my fingers plus a tiny bit over the rim.

Half Squat:
10, 10, 10 @ 80kg
Dropped the weight back a bit just because I felt like I was in real quarter squat territory (which I was) so I am trying to go a tad lower hence the slight back track in weight. Will bump it back up next time. Just don't want to start going super high without realising it.

Calf Raises:
3 sets at 100kg. Managed 15, 13, 12 reps. Will stick with this weight for a while until I can get more up around the 20 rep range.

Tried to do some tuck jumps etc the other day at a local school court after work but my joints were stuffed, was just too cold and I felt heavy as crap. Felt good today though at the indoor courts. Next workout will be Sunday I think, will try and get some good jumps in too. Might start doing some medicine ball ab work too, feel like my core /lower back etc is a bit weak.

Good stuff! Keep those  :personal-record:'s coming!

Been working my way up too that 100kg mark for a VERY VERY long time now and finally hit it!

Squat:
1 @ 100kg
:personal-record: :personal-record: :personal-record: YAY!!! Finally got that 100kg regular squat! I know its stuff all compared to most but it's such a milestone for me. Man, so excited I got it! Was a huuuuuge grind though, almost died. My mind was trying to psych me out when I unracked it, so I just stood there for ages with it on my back until I knew I wasn't going to pussy out lol, was shaking like shit on my way up and re-racking it, all good though  :D  That was 1.45x bodyweight, so close to 1.5x!!!

Jumps:
Did some but no good. Legs feeling tired. I am going to start doing some tuck jumps and other light plyo stuff just to build my "jumping stamina" up because I get tired real quick and lose my legs.

Squat:
1 @ 100kg
:personal-record: :personal-record: :personal-record: YAY!!! Finally got that 100kg regular squat! I know its stuff all compared to most but it's such a milestone for me. Man, so excited I got it! :ibsquatting: :ibsquatting: :ibsquatting:

Did some 1/4 - 1/2 squats after, can't remember what though. Was too excited from the PR   ;D

Calf Raises:
3 sets at 90kg. Felt good. Will bump up to 100kg soon.

So in summary, don't care about the crappy jumps today, just pumped about the squat PR. So happy!

Far out, got sick as for a week or so and was just gone. Sucked.

Anyway attempted a 100kf parallel squat today but couldn't get it! Listened to my psych up song and the bar felt so light when I unracked it but as soon as I got down with it I just couldn't get that little bit of momentum to come back up. I'm going to try again on Sunday (not tomorrow but the next day) and do my best to kill it!!!
