WEIGHT: ???
SORENESS: none
ACHES/INJURIES: neck still stiff but not painful
MENTAL STATE: blah, under the weather

- warm up

- skater jump x 10,10

- one-step RVJ x 5

- DLRVJ x ~8
again super inconsistent. one or two really good jumps and one or two abortive attempts. head out of it, called it a day. better luck tomorrow inshallah.

Getting fat again

Doing a morning walk right now up and down the road, approximately 2 miles.  Will do another at 1pm and in the evening sometime

dunno if you care but my guess is the reason is pretty simple.

Eating 5 eggs, 2 burrito, 1 peach,  1 decaf coffee and 2 cookies (pnut butter and chocolate chips, can't resist)

i like to follow up and ask why i wasn't hired, but i've never gotten a response yet ha

can i ask how you're asking the question? as a hiring manager i try to respond to people when they ask, if they're polite and open about it. if someone just writes "why wasn't i hired?" i might just think "cause you weren't good enough, dumbass" and delete the email. but if they write to say, "disappointed that i didn't get the job, but good luck with whomever you did hire. could you tell me what, if anything, i could do better in my next interview?" then i don't mind taking a few minutes to give feedback.

seems a bit extreme unless you actually just want to leave and are giving yourself an excuse.

had my physical this morning. verdict: i have really low vitamin D, slightly elevated protein, slightly elevated blood pressure, and herpes, and otherwise am in perfect health. got a script for the vitamin D -- apparently the OTC stuff is not activated so you still need sun exposure to make it work. duly noted. the Rx stuff is already activated and you just take one pill (50,000 IU) a week. also got a script for the HSV that i'm to take only if i ever start to develop symptoms.

also i had to speak on a panel tonight about northern pakistan. got my visa this week. leaving the country soon now. matter of weeks. wow.

i have an applet on chrome that shuts my screen down for two minutes 2-3 times an hour during the work day. it's easy to ignore if i'm plowing through something but most of the time i use it as a prompt to get up and go to the bathroom, or get some water, or just do a few old man stretches at my desk. i think it's called break time. worth a try.

WEIGHT: ???
SORENESS: none
ACHES/INJURIES: neck still stiff but not as bad, not too painful
MENTAL STATE: fantastic for some reason

- warm up

- MB OH toss x 3,3
much power, hit ceiling very hard. prob hardest throws i've done.

- SL jumps x 5,5/leg

- squat 315 x 3,3,3
felt so strong, these were easy. could probably have done 3x5, which would tie all-time PR, but that's not the point. last reps explosive on each set.

- TTB x 8,8

- stretch

whoa. not sure i would have jumped high today but i felt strong as fuck. haven't gotten enough sleep the last two nights, either. weird.

tbh im more intrigued by ideas i feel strongly about (positive or negative)..

as are most people...

so just cos i hate something doesn't mean i wont eventually fall in love with them and vice versa (front squats and half deadlifts aka rdls) but whatevs .. ya'll over-reacting. why can feynman call an idea dopy or dumb and still engage it but without implying any judgement of the person who said it. acole put me onto TENS units and for that im ever grateful but apologises all round.

can't speak for others but i was specifically referring to your bizarre assertion that touching the backboard is "different from anything you'd do athletically". that doesn't make sense! not even a little bit of sense! i am very curious how that thought formulated itself in your head!

confession; im not dealing well with coming off this diet. my appetite is insatiable, i want to keep eating and eating .. not good.

sounds very unpleasant.
