corey maggette had more dunks in his tenth season than his first, despite playing basically the same number of games in each.

more doesn't mean he jumped higher. my point was he jumped lower and lower as soon as he got to the nba at age like 21

Kyrie predictor: how will kyrie do next year?

something weird i noticed: kyrie always played well on long road trips or when the team had to camp out away for awhile. there always seemed to be a jump to his step on long away games.

at home however even with the momentum of the crowd he doesn't do comparably well. howcome?

I'm going to double down on a statement a said last year....

Ja will be the best player of this draft.

There I've said it again lol

he's a baller but but hes like a grasshopper, weighs 20 lbs.....

i'm afraid nba going to make him top heavy from lifting and destroy his knees because no lower body fast twitch muscle gains....

right now he is well balanced between upper and lower body strength.

remember corey maggette from duke? naturally he was a beast. but as time went on in nba, he could barely even dunk cause he kept gaining upper body muscle while losing lowerbody muscle

on that note: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/27125793/these-kids-ticking-bombs-threat-youth-basketball

yep, i def thought about it when i saw this article on espn too. i didnt think kids would have these issues but it makes sense with how much more bball exposure gets get nowadays and the aau etc. the whole "lifting stunts your growth" idea needs to be re-evaluated. is there even proof weight lifting stunts a person's growth pre adulthood?

I really like the move putting lebron at point guard. its the position that he will do best at as he is older and its actually the position he's always wanted to play since he was a kid. tall point guards are always good in the nba because they can see over defenders and have length to get hte ball to a player.

it will definitely be interesting to see LAC vs LAL .... will probably be like fight night mike tyson kind of hype.

edit wow boogie is going to LA too and he is supposedly really pist off and working hard this summer....

all these guys were mentioned at one point in their careers as being "franchise players" -- lebron, ad,pg,boogie, kawhi. all in 1 city now and they have good role players too.

Everyone should have known actually that clippers were up to something when Patrick Beverly of all people resigned with clippers taking 5million dollar pay cut or  along those lines. That was mind boggling and i thought hmmm maybe he just doesn't want to have to move to a new place but stil....

lol now we know why he wants a championship!

we all know the truth why these guys are getting injured so much. they dont do the proper lifts. many sports articles on how a strong quad and hamstring can protect knees some of these nba players do little more than resistance band or bodyweight squats, not much deadlifting, and wonder why they get injured... while they do a lot of upper lifting like db shoulder, db bench of up to 100 lb db's sometimes.

with good posterior chain strength to take the landing rather than knee ligaments and joints etc....

russ needs not to jump so high on wide open jump shots so he can be more stable.... yeah he can do a lot of the other stuff ....  look for houston to be tough as well.

Adarq...bruh....ya just got Russ.

crazy.. MIA just pulled some serious stuff out of nowhere this off season.

I've been following the rumors for a while now, but can't find details of the trade?!?!

Westbrook is a beast but, not exactly sure of what to think yet - tho I guess Westbrook might be even more of a threat in the East. Westbrook is an absolute monster, this is definitely exciting. It'll be fun watching him in MIA, going to be highlight szn down here.

The East is pretty open right now.. MIA didn't prepare for it too well but SOMEHOW pulled some serious magic to make these two trades happen.

Westbrook, Butler, joining Bam/Dragic/Winslow/Olynyk etc.. I think we still have Waiters, James Johnson, Jones Jr as well? Now Meyers Leonard & Herro seems solid?? If so, very solid squad right there.

MIA going to be showtime for 2019-2020. :ninja: :ninja: :ninja:

 :ibjumping:

waiters > westbrook imo right now..... westbrook already hit his prime unless he somehow visits adarq.org and reads kingfish's logs :)

but seriously westbrook has 0 finesse on his shots, has probably one of the worst square up and follow thru's today....

wow very solid squad indeed miami has...

affirmative action is a clunky but necessary tool that can help to correct for 400+ years of systematic oppression and hoarding of privilege and resources by white men.

Wow just wow. 2 wrongs make a right I guess, according to LBSS.

are you familiar with the phrase "false equivalency"? because that's what you're making.

Please, just stop. You're being brainwashed.

Interesting. kawahi has the same wingspan as AD and pg is 1in taller than lebron....

pat beverly the pesky crazy guard stayed for less pay before this.

lac has montrez herrell who i believe was better right out of colelge just like Don mitchell and others, the nba tends to ruin some players because of lack of training schedule like NCAA

yup motrezl is great, he's an absolute monster and wouldn't be surprised if he's all-star level soon.

LAC still has lou and motrezl, that squad is going to be brutal.

probably pick up a few more solid players looking to nab a quick championship. that was starting to happen for LAK, but now LAC stole the thunder (no pun) 8|

Yeah that is so crazy man, in the blink of an eye clippers are now the favorite to win the championship! INSANE! i don't see how any team can beat current Clips lineup and coaching staff!
