I guess I will join. My hat off to acole14 for wasting me in our vertical gain competition..... I went negative 1 in while he at least maintained and gained.....

I am at 220 lb and sub 400 full paused squat, my prime was either many eyars ago at 178 lb and 315 or 215 and 405lb squat, not sure which one was better.....

Been squatting only 6 - 7 times a month lately.

The routine is for lighter day:

135 x 1, 3, 10   for warm up

225 x 1, 2, 5

315 x 1, 2, 4

Heavier day:

135 x 1, 3, 10   for warm up

225 x 1, 2, 5

315 x 1, 2, 6

365 x 1

Front squat: 135 x 1, 5

225 x 1

And that's about it. This is pretty much maintenance that I'm doing. Hopefully I will go super heavy and super hi volume soon.

So are we the only ones in the 600mg or more caffeine per day club? You, Kingfish, and me? Sometimes I feel like I need 500 mg caffeine just to make it to the gym.... this can't be good.

I'm curious about your thought on this: what % NBA players are actually properly trained in the weight room and not just doing upper body lifts and more plyometrics for legs?

It seems like you can really tell which players are skipping leg days. They simply dont have much power on their drives and they dont even attempt to jump from a standstill to block shots cause they know they can't get up.

Here are some players that i think their trainers have them skip leg days all the time: dangelo russell, demare carroll, lonzo ball, dwyane wade(he has bad knees....) tyson chandler, draymond green and a lot more.....

affirmative action is a clunky but necessary tool that can help to correct for 400+ years of systematic oppression and hoarding of privilege and resources by white men.

Wow just wow. 2 wrongs make a right I guess, according to LBSS.

I dunno if it's stupidity or ignorance or what.... For example a girl that I know is okay with some black person referring to a white person as a "white boy", but if a white person refers to a black person as a "black boy" then she'll get outraged!

CNN is the like this. How is this fair?

Also, how is affirmative action something that is good? You tell me. Does 2 wrongs make a right?

Wow now daily 455s, like Justin Gatlin u haven't slowed down a bit and might be at your prime nearing late 30s.

Come on just admit it, you've been taking that GH,

just kidding, very impressive, world class strength/vertical!

natural gH = squatting multiple times per day, every day, for years.

growth factors = barbell

yeah true, speaking of squatting, i wonder if the way i had done it in 2013 where i would shake from stress of trying to add 10 lb each session until failure on a 4x 8 routine.... can cause kidney or liver damage like it says here: https://www.acsh.org/news/2018/02/27/kidney-damage-can-occur-overly-intense-muscle-use-12634

I think Gordon Hayward was one of the most overrated players in nba BEFORE he got injured. He was not a great shooter or defender, he was just a good iso scorer. His physique wasn't exactly GREAT. Many guards 5-8 inches shorter than him with same or LONGER wingspans....

He just ended up on a very offensively challenged UTAH team which was why he did well and was recognized, avg as much as 22ppg.

I never thought Gordon fit well with boston to begin with.... he was never a catch and shoot player, he needed to get 1 on 1 iso's to get going....

Thoughts on Boston?

There's so much to like about this team and as much as I like some of the players individually I just cannot get amongst them as a team. They seem devoid of the same personality they had last year.

Everyone besides kyrie over performed last year so everyone wants to get 1 on 1 opportunities this year so they just play pick up game offense.... brad stevens is a great defensive coach, but not so much offense.

they just need to hustle like hell and give clearouts to kyrie the way they did for IT and some need to expect not getting any shots, its just the way it is, then they will be really good
