inner ear messed-with by front and back rolls. feel mildly nauseated. also, had never done either type of roll before so instead of linking them i did them consecutively. will link next time. kip-ups continue to be a source of frustration, despite having gone back to the to-sitting variant. arm drive still not there most of the time. had one or two okay attempts, the rest awful. that'll be satisfying when i get it.

EDIT: didn't finish stretching, feel dead. the rolls are mainly to blame i think.

are you sure it's a migraine then? migraines tend to be completely crippling, if i get one (and it's been a couple of years, knock wood), basically all i can do is be very still, in the dark, and puke.

migraine? go see a doc if you can, i got a prescription for migraines a few years ago (sumatriptan) that works very well. nothing previously had worked.

front squat to back squat ratio is a matter of leverages, you're pretty much always going to be able to BS more than you FS and that's fine. nothing against focusing on FS, do what makes you happy.

week was expected. no workouts. did go zorbing on friday night, which was fun as hell and exhausting. back on the horse today, as self-promised.

take two. did the whole workout this time. made progress on pirouettes by (shocker) focusing harder on them. balance is still worse on my right foot, 3+ years after the last time i even tweaked that ankle. six sprains will do that, i guess.

are you not breaking a bit at the low back on your DLs? looks a bit like you set well and then when you start to pull you soften a little bit right at the top of the hips. could just be a trick of the light, still something to pay close attention to.

if squatting and jumping are causing pain, stop doing both. dead lifts, if you can do them without pain, are also a good strength-building exercise. they're obviously different from squats but it sounds like you might need to mix things up a little bit at the moment anyway, given the apparent injury.
